KCET Application Form 2026: KEA released the KCET 2026 application form. Link to fill the application form of KCET 2026 is available on the KEA official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in/kea. We have also shared the direct link for candidates to complete the KCET 2026 registration. To be eligible, candidates must complete their 2nd PUC/Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board with at least 45% aggregate marks in the core subjects (40% for reserved categories).

Only those candidates who abide by the eligibility norms set by KEA can apply, or else their candidature will be rejected at a later stage of KCET. Prior to applying, students must have all their documents ready before the Karnataka CET registration 2026. The registration of KCET 2026 involves: creating a user ID, filling in personal and academic details, uploading scanned photographs and signatures in the required format.

Once all the details are duly filled, they must pay the KCET application fee in online mode. After the conclusion of the registration process, the KCET application form correction facility. KCET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Karnataka Examinations Authority uploads the KCET eligibility criteria 2026. Applicants are advised to check the eligibility criteria before filling out the application form of KCET 2026. KEA releases the KCET eligibility criteria separately for all the courses. The KCET application form 2026 will be rejected in case any candidate fails to fulfill the eligibility criteria at the time of admission. For more details, candidates can refer to the table given below.

BE/BTech 

Candidates should have passed the 2nd PUC / Class 12 / equivalent exam with English as one of the Languages and obtain a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in Physics and Mathematics along with Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Computer (40% for reserved category)

KEA will release the KCET application form 2026 at the official website. Candidates will have to fill all details in the KCET 2026 application form carefully. KEA will provide KCET 2026 application form correction facility after the conclusion of registration process. However, only few details will be allowed to edit in the form. In case of filling wrong details in the application form, there are chances of KCET form rejection.

How to fill KCET Application Form 2026?

Karnataka Examinations Authority releases the KCET application form in online mode. For KCET 2026 registration, students must fill in details, upload photos, a signature, and a thumb impression, and submit the final submission.

Steps to Fill the KCET Application Form 2026 

  • Go to the KCET official website. 
  • Click on “New User? Click Here for KCET registration 2026”. 
  • Fill in the required information, such as the 13-digit ‘student number’ issued by the PUE department if you are going to appear in the 2nd PUC examination, and then click on the “submit” button. 
  • After the applicants need to fill in their name, date of birth, email ID, mobile number, security question, and security code, and submit the details in the KCET application form. 
  • After successful KCET 2026 registration, candidates will receive their application number and User-ID to their registered mobile phone number and email ID. 
  • Candidates should log in to their account by using their user ID and password. 
  • Fill in “Student information” by entering the required information and save the entries. 
  • After that, fill in educational details and then click on the “save and next” button. 
  • Then upload scanned images of the candidate's photograph, the candidate's signature, the candidate's left-hand thumb impression, and the parent's signature in the KCET 2026 application form. 

KCET 2026 Application Form - Final Submission 

  • Candidates will receive an application ID and password to their registered email address after completion of the KCET 2026 registration. 
  • In the next step, applicants need to upload the scanned copy of the recent passport-size color photograph and signature in JPG/JPEG format separately. 
  • Take the printout of the triplicate “Challan Copy” and pay the requisite fee in any of the branches of specified banks. The bank will retain its copy and hand over the remaining copies. 
  • Candidates can also pay the prescribed fee through net banking. 
  • Take the printout of the application form of KCET 2026 on an A-4 size sheet of paper. 
  • Affix a recent passport-size photograph, signature, and left-hand thumb impression to the space provided. 
  • Obtain the Principal's seal and signature from the college where you studied 2nd PU or Class 12. 
  • Candidates have to produce the same copy along with the copy of the Challan (KEA Copy) during document verification.

No, applicants need to appear in the Karnataka CET exam from the exam centre. KEA will release the KCET admit card for all the registered candidates with exam centre details. Applicants need to carry their KCET admit card along with one valid photo ID proof to the exam centre. 

Q:   Will the KCET application fee be refunded if I do not appear for the exam?
A: 

No, Karnataka Examination Authority will not refund the KCET application fee in case applicant fails to appear in the exam. KCET application fee once paid is nonrefundable under any circumstances. Candidates are advised to keep track of KCET exam dates to avoid missing any event related to the exam.

How to Retrieve KCET Application Form Number and Password?

If a student forgets their KCET application number or password, they can contact the exam authority; however, prior to that, they must also search their registered email ID inbox. Still, in case they can't find it they must visit the KEA official website and follow the steps mentioned below -
