KCET Application Fee 2027: The Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KCET) 2027 will start accepting the KCET 2027 registrations in Feb 2027 tentatively. To successfully submit the KCET UGCET 2027 application form students will have to pay application fee till March 2027. Based on past year data, the KCET application fee varies based on candidate's category and residency status. General and OBC applicants (including GM, 2A, 2B, 3A, and 3B) are required to pay INR 500, while a reduced fee of INR 250 applies to SC, ST, and Category-1 candidates from Karnataka and female candidates residing in Karnataka.
Students from outside Karnataka will have to pay INR 750, while foreign or international candidates must pay INR 5,000. This application fee is non-refundable even if the candidate does not appear in the exam. This amount can be paid in online mode via credit card/debit card/net banking. The KCET application form filling process is completely online. To apply for the Karnataka CET entrance exam, students must follow the steps mentioned below -

KCET 2027 Fee Waiver & Exemptions
There is no full waiver of application fee for any category; however, SC, ST, Category-1, and female candidates from Karnataka get 50% reduction. They can pay INR 250 instead of ₹500.
Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and Category-1 may claim exemption from tuition fees during the admission process. However, for the same they will have to show annual family income below INR 8.00 Lakhs (for 2A, 2B, 3A, 3B). There might be other fee waiver or scholarships for reserved category candidates which will be either mentioned in the notification PDF or as per specific government orders for other categories.

KCET 2027 Late Fee and Deadlines
KEA does not accept late applications or payments after the specified deadline. Once the portal closes, no additional window will be opened with a late fee. Hence the original schedule is the only time when students can apply for the exam. During the correction facility, students will be able to make edits into certain fields such as name, category, and academic details.
