KCET Application Form Correction 2025 – Important Points
- Candidates can refer to the important guidelines regarding correction facility.
- Candidates can edit nationality, address, bank details, claimed reservations, RD details, eligibility clause, and documents. uploaded, course selection, exam centre selection and PUC register number.
- Candidates other than the State Board can edit Name, Father /Mother Name, Date of Birth and Gender.
- Candidates who are not claiming Kannada medium and Rural quota reservation can submit 07 years of study details including one year of Board exam (10th Std or 12th std).
- Candidates who claim Kannada medium and Rural quota reservations should submit 10 years of study details from class 1 to 10. In case, SATS data does not have all 10 years, then they should either get it updated in the SATS database or upload manually. In case of error in SATS database, the candidate should approach respective School which shall co-ordinate with the concerned DDPI (Deputy Director of Public Instructions) to get the data updated.
- Candidates claiming clause 'D' but who have studied only 07 years in Kannada speaking districts of neighboring States and who have studied 10th or 12th std in other area can now upload their documents and claim clause 'D'.
- An additional SATS number can be added.
- Existing SATS numbers cannot be altered. Candidates who are falling short of 07 years and hence want to alter the existing SATS number, should submit their application to Grievance Management portal of KEA.
- Candidates claiming Religious/Linguistic Minority quota and who are falling short of 10 years of study between 1 to 12th std should upload the missing years manually. In case of error in SATS database, the candidate should approach respective School which shall co-ordinate with the concerned DDPI (Deputy Director of Public Instructions) to get the data updated.
- In case of error in school name KEA will co-ordinate with SATS team.
- As already stated earlier, errors in the name of the Board and School address will not affect candidature.
- Candidates who have studied from NIOS should obtain a letter stating that they have enrolled with NIOS and upload this letter in the study certificate document tab.
- Candidates with same names who have interchanged their SATS number should submit their request to grievance management portal of KEA. Candidates who have cleared their 10th std before 2017-18 can enter their details manually without SATS number.
