KCET Application Form Correction 2025: Karnataka Examinations Authority will soon commence the KCET 2025 application form correction online at the official website. Applicants who made any mistake during registration can access Karnataka CET application form correction 2025 at kea.kar.nic.in. Applicants are required to have their user ID and password to make corrections in KCET 2025 application form. Candidates must note that only certain details are allowed to be edited at the time of KCET application form correction 2025. Q:   What is the last date to fill KCET application form?

The last date to apply was February 27, 2026. Candidates could fill out the KCET application form at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in.

Q:   My parents names spellings are different in my 10th marks sheet and KCET application form, will this be an issue in the KCET counseling?
A: 

Candidates appearing in the KCET 2025 counseling process are advised to have all the documents ready before the registration process. In case of any selling mistake in KCET application form 2025, candidates are advised to make an affidavit in the same regard. The name of the parents in the application form and all certificates should be the same. Karnataka Examinations Authority will not consider applicants with mistakes in the KCET 2025 application form for further admission process. 

Q:   How will I know if I registered for KCET exam successfully?

After successfully filling the KCET application form, applicants gets the confirmation mail on their registered ID. KEA also send the confirmation text on the registered number. Candidates looking for admission are advised to enter a valid mobile number and email ID at the time of KCET registration. Applicants are advised to keep the confirmation mail and text safe till the conclusion of the admission process.  

KCET Application Form Correction 2025 – Important Points 

  • Candidates can refer to the important guidelines regarding correction facility.  
  • Candidates can edit nationality, address, bank details, claimed reservations, RD details, eligibility clause, and documents. uploaded, course selection, exam centre selection and PUC register number.  
  • Candidates other than the State Board can edit Name, Father /Mother Name, Date of Birth and Gender.  
  • Candidates who are not claiming Kannada medium and Rural quota reservation can submit 07 years of study details including one year of Board exam (10th Std or 12th std).  
  • Candidates who claim Kannada medium and Rural quota reservations should submit 10 years of study details from class 1 to 10. In case, SATS data does not have all 10 years, then they should either get it updated in the SATS database or upload manually. In case of error in SATS database, the candidate should approach respective School which shall co-ordinate with the concerned DDPI (Deputy Director of Public Instructions) to get the data updated.  
  • Candidates claiming clause 'D' but who have studied only 07 years in Kannada speaking districts of neighboring States and who have studied 10th or 12th std in other area can now upload their documents and claim clause 'D'.  
  • An additional SATS number can be added.  
  • Existing SATS numbers cannot be altered. Candidates who are falling short of 07 years and hence want to alter the existing SATS number, should submit their application to Grievance Management portal of KEA.  
  • Candidates claiming Religious/Linguistic Minority quota and who are falling short of 10 years of study between 1 to 12th std should upload the missing years manually. In case of error in SATS database, the candidate should approach respective School which shall co-ordinate with the concerned DDPI (Deputy Director of Public Instructions) to get the data updated.  
  • In case of error in school name KEA will co-ordinate with SATS team.  
  • As already stated earlier, errors in the name of the Board and School address will not affect candidature.  
  • Candidates who have studied from NIOS should obtain a letter stating that they have enrolled with NIOS and upload this letter in the study certificate document tab. 
  • Candidates with same names who have interchanged their SATS number should submit their request to grievance management portal of KEA. Candidates who have cleared their 10th std before 2017-18 can enter their details manually without SATS number.

Candidates can refer to the steps given below to make corrections in KCET application form.  

  • Visit the KEA KCET official website - cetonline.karnataka.gov.in 2025. 
  • Click on the KCET correction link 2025 from the homepage.  
  • Enter the user ID and password in the required fields. 
  • Make corrections in the necessary information.  
  • Preview all details and submit the KCET application form correction form for future reference.

No, KCET application form is available only in online mode. Candidates looking for admission to various courses will be able to fill the KCET application form from its official website kea.kar.nic.in only. 

Q:   What will happen if I don't pay the KCET seat confirmation fees?
A: 

To accept a seat allotted at the time of KCET counselling it is compulsory to pay the confirmation fee. In case any candidate does not pay the seat confirmation fee till the last date the then allotted seat will be lost. Applicants cannot reclaim the allotted seat again after last of fee payment. Candidates are advised to keep track of all the date related to the KCET counselling 2024. The seat confirmation fee of KCET needs to be paid online. However complete fee has to be paid at the time of physical reporting at the allotted Institute.

It depends on the specific specialisation. While the main BE in Computer Science and Engineering branch at Sapthagiri College of Engineering closed at 66,750, you might have a better chance in Data Science or Electronics and Communication, which had similar or slightly higher closing ranks.

If you are applying in the General AI quota, your rank should be between 49,268 and 89,902*. To apply under the Home State (Karnataka) quota, score between 63,332 and 1,52,086, depending on stream you select.
