NUCAT Exam Date 2026: Registration (Ongoing), Admit Card & Result Dates

Application fee of INR 1000 must be paid to submit NUCAT 2026 Application form. NUCAT application fee can be paid online. The application fee will not be refunded. If the candidates want to appear for exam in multiple slots, they must pay fees separately for each slot. 

The NUCAT application form is currently available. The candidates should check for the important dates and apply before the closing date of the application form. NUCAT 2026 will be conducted in 3 phases. The application form for test 2 will be available till April 13, 2026.

Nitte University Common Admission Test NUCAT exam will be conducted in 3 phases. Dates to fill Nitte University Common Admission Test NUCAT application form are as follows

NUCAT Test 1 application form was available till February 9, 2026

NUCAT Test 2 application form will be available from February 10, 2026, to April 13, 2026.

NUCAT Test 3 application form will be available from April 14, 2026, to May 25, 2026.

NUCAT 2026 admit card release date will be announced soon. Admit card will be released separately for each test, few days before exam. The admit card will be available for download on official website. Candidates can enter login credentials and download admit card.

NUCAT admit card colour print is not needed. The candidates can take a colour print since details will be clear in it. A colour print of photograph and other details are clear, making identification easier for exam officials. However, black and white print is generally allowed if details are clearly visible.

The duration of NUCAT exam is usually 2 hours. NUCAT can be taken at home or at exam centre. Technical requirements to take test online are as follows:

• Computer CPU: i3 Processor or equivalent (higher always recommended)
• Computer RAM: 4 GB (higher is always recommended)
• Operating System (OS):

Windows 10 (x64) Windows 11  (x64,) Ubuntu 18.4 or 20.4 version (x64) MAC OS (Version 10.11, 10.12, 10.13, 10.14, 10.15, 11, 11.1, 11.2, 11.3, 11.4, 11.5, and 11.6)

• Browser: Google Chrome (90 and above) or Microsoft Edge (90 and above)
• Internet Speed: 500 Kbps
• Microphone: The laptop/desktop must be connected to a working microphone
• Camera: Any functional webcam with HD/FHD (recommended)
• Mobile phone / Tab connected with internet: For 3^rd eye

If candidates don't meet all the listed technical requirements, they must take NUCAT Test at one of designated test centres,   reserved during slot time and date.

The NUCAT exam date 2026 has been announced. NUCAT Test 2 will be conducted on April 25, 2026 to April 27, 2026. The exam will be conducted in three slots, in February, April and June 2026. NITTE University conducts NUCAT (Nitte University Common Admission Test) three times a year to provide multiple opportunities to the candidates to appear for the entrance exam and to increase the chances of admission for the students. 

NUCAT 2026 will be for a total of 120 marks asked from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. 40 questions are asked from each subject. Only multiple-choice questions are asked in NUCAT 2026.  

The NUCAT 2026 application form is currently available for test 2. NUCAT exam is conducted 3 times in a year in February, April and June 2026.  The exact dates are announced on Nitte University's official website each year. NUCAT Test 2 will be conducted from April 25 to 27, 2026. NUCAT Test 3 will be conducted on June 6 to 8, 2026.

Mock test will be conducted before exams. Candidates must take mock test to know exam pattern and types of questions in NUCAT. Dates of mock tests are as follows

Mock test 1 will be on February 15 and 16, 2026

Mock test 2 will be from April 18 to 20, 2026

Mock test 3 will be from May 30 to June 1, 2026

NUCAT exam is easy to crack. It depends on the level of exam preparation and the understanding of the subjects. To score well in the exam, candidates must go through the syllabus and exam pattern. They must attempt mock test without fail. The mock test dates are published on the official website. The syllabus of NUCAT is based on the Class 11 and 12 syllabus. Candidates can clear NUCAT easily if they prepare well for the 12th boards.

The NUCAT Rank list will be released on June 20, 2026. The NUCAT rank will be displayed on the test portal by Nitte University. The merit list will be available on the official website. The exact dates are usually communicated beforehand. The candidates will be called for counselling after the results are announced. 

The NUCAT result is determined based on the marks obtained by the candidate in the NUCAT 2026. The Class 12 marks of the candidate are not considered while allotting ranks. The ranks are allotted to the candidates only based on their NUCAT 2026 score. 

NUCAT results will be released on official website. Candidates can download it online. Candidates need not visit the campus to check for results. The Nitte University Common Admission Test (NUCAT) rank will be published on the Test platform yaksha.nitte.edu.in.
