CTET Result Preparation Criteria: Normalisation of CTET Scores

The CTET December 2022 exam was conducted in multiple shifts. The CBSE used different sets of CTET question papers 2022 in every shift. In order to ensure that the difficulty level of the exam and coverage of the CTET syllabus 2022 remains comparable across all the shifts, the CBSE may adopt a normalisation process to declare the CTET results of the December 2022 session to adjust the variations, if any. It is expected that the scores will be normalised based on the following factors:

  • Number of registered candidates
  • Number of test-takers
  • Difficulty level of exam
  • Minimum qualifying marks

CTET Certificate 2022: Validity

Further, candidates are informed that the qualifying CTET exam does not confer them the right to employment/recruitment. This is because CTET is simply a qualifying exam and is only one of the eligibility criteria to be hired at the post of a teacher.
