IBPS PO Apply Online 2025: Last Date (July 28), Registration Process & Eligibility

If a candidate enters a wrong percentage in the IBPS PO application form, it may lead to disqualification from the recruitment process. Applicants can take print of the IBPS PO application form after the Mains exam. The link to reprint the application form is made available on the official website. To reprint the application form, candidates need to enter registration number or roll number and date of birth or password. Candidates need to show the printout of their application forms during interview. The link to take the printout of the application form will remain active within specified time frame. Candidates should keep the printout of the application form till the completion of the selection process. Candidates need to fill IBPS PO application form online. The authority released the IBPS PO 2025 notification on June 30, 2025 at ibps.in. The application form online link is activated on July 1, 2025. The IBPS PO 2025 application fee payment dates were July 1 to July 28, 2025. 

You are required to correctly enter the pin code in IBPS PO application form since appointment letter and other important documents are send on the registered pin code. Errors in application forms can sometimes lead to issues during document verification. Candidates who have graduation degree can apply for IBPS PO exam. There are several stages of IBPS PO application process. To apply for the exam, candidates need to first register by entering the required details. After registration, candidates can fill the detailed application form, upload photograph, signature, left thumb impression, handwritten declaration, fill the detailed application form, fee payment and final submission.

IBPS PO educational qualification is a Degree/Graduation in any discipline from a university recognised by the government. Of India or any equivalent qualification recognised as such by the Central Government. Candidates must possess valid marksheet/degree Certificate that they are graduate on the day they register and indicates the percentage of marks obtained in graduation while registration online. All educational mentioned by the examination authority should be from a university/institution/board recognised by government. Of India/approved by government/approved by government  on or before July 21, 2025.  Proper document from Board / University for having declared the result on or before
July 21, 2025 has to be submitted at the time of interview. Candidates who are in the final year of graduation are not eligible to apply for the exam. At the time of interview, candidates are required to submit the educational qualification certificates.

IBPS PO age limit prescribed for the exam is between 30 and 20 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit is provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories. The category-wise relaxation given to candidates are given below.

Applicants filling the application form of IBPS PO need to upload the handwritten declaration. IBPS PO handwritten declaration needs to be uploaded before the final submission of application form. The handwritten declaration needs to be uploaded as per the format prescribed by IBPS. The file size of the handwritten declaration should be between 50 kb to 100 kb. The handwritten declaration should be written in English only in Capital Letters. The text of the handwritten declaration is given below: I, _ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.

The authority released the IBPS PO 2025 vacancies along with the notification PDF on June 30, 2025. The notification consists of the details about the recruitment process, IBPS PO vacancies, eligibility, syllabus, exam pattern and other rules and regulations which will govern the exam. The IBPS PO 2025 vacancies are 5208.

This year, a total of 5208 vacancies are announced for IBPS PO 2025 exam. The highest number of vacancies are announced for Bank of Baroda, Bank of Maharashtra and Canara Bank that is 1000.  A total of 2204 vacancies are announced for General Category, 1337 for OBC, 782 for SC and 365 for ST. IBPS PO prelims exam is conducted in four shifts -9 am to 10 am, 11.30 am to 12.30 pm, 2 pm to 3 pm, and 4 pm to 5 pm. IBPS PO Mains exam is conducted in two shifts- 9 am to 12.30 pm and 2 pm to 5.30 pm. The shift timings of the prelims and Mains exams are mentioned on the admit card. Candidates need to appear for the exam as per their shift timings. Candidates reporting late to the exam centre will not be allowed to enter the exam hall. Any stationery item like textual material (printed or written), bits of papers, Geometry/Pencil Box,  Plastic Pouch, Calculator, Scale, Writing Pad, Pen Drives, Log Table, Electronic Pen/Scanner, any communication device like Mobile Phone, Bluetooth, Earphones, Microphone, Pager, Health Band etc. Other items like Goggles, Handbags, Hair-pin, Hair-band, Belt, Cap, Any watch/Wrist Watch, Camera, metallic item, eatable item opened or packed, water bottle (only transparent water bottle is allowed), Any other item which could be used for unfair means for hiding communication devices like camera, bluetooth devices etc. After AarogyaSetu status display at the entry gate, candidates will be required to switch off their mobile phones, and deposit it at the designated location, to be collected while exiting. Any candidate who is found either copying or receiving or giving assistance will be disqualified. Candidates should avoid wearing ornaments like Ring, Earrings, Nose-pin, Chain/Necklace, Pendants, Badge, brooch etc.

The public sector banks offer a good salary to candidates selected through IBPS PO exam. The basic salary is INR 48,480. After including all the allowances, the gross salary is around INR 90,732.77. Candidates selected as PO are promoted to the post of Middle Manager-Middle Management Grade Scale 2, Senior Manager-Middle Management Grade Scale 3, Chief Manager-Senior Management Grade Scale 4, Assistant General, Manager-Senior Management Grade Scale 5, Deputy General Manager, Management Grade Scale 6, General Manager-Top Management Grade Scale 7, Executive Director, Chairman and Managing Director.

IBPS PO full form stands for the Institute of Banking Personnel Selection Probationary Officers. The exam is conducted online once a year and comprises three-stage selection process-prelims, Mains and interview. Candidates are recruited in 11 participating banks. The final selection of candidates is done based on the Mains exam and interview. The prelims exam comprises 100 marks and Mains paper carries 225 marks.

IBPS PO handwritten declaration is a text which candidates need to write in their own handwriting. By uploading handwritten declaration candidates agree to the fact that the details provided in the application form are correct and valid. The hand written declaration has to be in the candidate's hand writing and in English only. If it is written by anybody else and uploaded or in any other language, the application will be considered as invalid. The handwritten declaration should not be written in Capital Letters.
