IBPS PO Shift Timings 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) will conduct the IBPS PO 2025 Mains exam on October 12 at various centres across the country. The shift timings for the IBPS PO Mains exam is from 9 am to 12:10 pm. The duration of the exam is three hours ten minutes. Candidates must reach the exam centre as per the IBPS PO reporting time to avoid any last minute hassle. The authority released the IBPS PO admit card on the official website at ibps.in. The IBPS PO mains exam 2025 will consist of 145 questions (excluding Descriptive 2 questions) with a total of 225 marks (200 + 25 for Descriptive Paper). The sections included in the exam are Reasoning, General / Economy / Banking Awareness / Digital / Financial Awareness, including RBI circulars, English Language, Data Analysis and Interpretation, and Descriptive Paper (Essay and Comprehension).

IBPS PO Shift Timing: General Instruction & Documents Required

Candidates can check below some of the important instructions related to IBPS PO shift timing:

  • IBPS PO prelims admit card will not be collected at the exam centre. The photo identity card and prelims admit card will be duly authenticated/stamped by exam officials at the exam centre
  • Candidates qualified for the mains exam will have to bring their authenticated prelims admit card and photo-identity proof to the exam centre. Without the prelims admit card, candidates will not be given entry to the exam centre
  • Candidates must bring an ink stamp pad for affixing a left thumb impression on the call letter and attendance sheet
  • Candidates need to bring anyone of the photo-identity to the exam centre:
  1. PAN Card
  2. Passport
  3. Permanent Driving License
  4. Voter’s Card with photograph
  5. Bank Passbook with photograph
  6. Photo Identity proof issued by a Gazetted Officer or People’s Representative on official letterhead
  7. Valid recent Identity Card issued by a recognized College/University
  8. Aadhar Card/E-aadhar Card with a photograph
  9. Employee ID Bar Council Identity card with photograph
  • All applicants must ensure that their name on the call letter matches exactly with the one on the photo identity proof that they choose to carry on the day of the exam
  • The photocopy of the identity proof must be submitted to the invigilator present in the exam hall
  • Calculators, Mobile Phones, Pagers, or any other communication devices are not allowed inside the exam hall
  • Candidates should take a ballpoint pen. Sheets of paper will be provided

IBPS PO Exam Day Guidelines 2025

Candidates can check below IBPS PO exam day guidelines 2025:

  • Wearing masks and gloves is mandatory
  • No candidate shall be allowed inside the exam venue without a mask
  • Candidates must have Aarogya Setu App on their mobile phones, and be checked at the entrance gate by the Security Guards
  • Aspirants who do not have a Mobile Phone must bring along a self-attested declaration
  • Aspirants must carry a transparent water bottle along with them and a 50ml bottle of hand sanitizer
  • The rough sheets shall be kept on the candidate’s desk and no extra sheets shall be provided during the exam
  • Aspirants shall have to drop their IBPS PO admit cards, photocopy of Identity Proof, and their worksheets in a box after the completion of the examination

The instructions related to biometric verification and IRIS scan are given below:

  • Biometric Verification is a part of the attendance process of the IBPS PO exam
  • Candidate registration will be done through photo capture and IRIS Scan (Biometric capture of Right thumb impression for VI candidates)
  • The photo captured will be matched with the photo uploaded by you in the application
  • Photograph and IRIS scan will be taken while the candidate is standing
  • On completion of the examination, IRIS verification (Right Thumb Biometric verification for VI candidates) will be done for each candidate
