IBPS PO eligibility criteria are certain parameters in terms of age limit, educational qualification -
- Candidates should be between 20 and 30 years. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided to the following categories.
- The eligibility criteria for the IBPS CRP exam is a graduation degree in any discipline from a University recognized by the Government of India.
- The candidates must have a valid marksheet/ degree certificate that certifies that they are a graduate on the day they register for this exam, and must indicate the percentage of marks obtained in graduation while registering for the IBPS PO.

IBPS PO selection process comprises prelims exam, Mains exam and interview.
A reserve list to the extent of approximately 10 percent of the vacancies under each category may be kept, subject to the availability of candidates. This does not guarantee provisional allotment to/recruitment by the participating banks. In the event of Participating Banks providing further vacancies during April 2024-March 2025 at different intervals, provisional allotment may be carried out three to four times for the candidates in the reserve list, based on the vacancies provided by some or any of the participating banks at different intervals during the period. However, if no vacancy is furnished by the Participating Banks owing to exigencies or otherwise during the validity period, the candidates under the reserve list will not be considered for provisional allotment. The reserve list will expire automatically on March 31, 2025. Candidates who are not provisionally allotted or not in the reserve list will not be considered for further process.
The ratio of candidates selected for an interview are 80:20. Aspirants are selected based on mains exam and their performance in interview is based upon final merit list. The interview is held for 100 marks. The minimum qualifying marks are 40 per cent and for SC/ST/OBC/PWBD are 35 per cent.
