IBPS RRB Apply Online 2025: The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) opened the window to edit IBPS RRB application window on October 6, 2025. The last date to edit the application form is October 7, 2025. The window to fill the application form closed on September 28, 2025. The application form filling window was opened on September 1, 2025 to fill up a total of 13217 vacancies.

Earlier, the last date to fill the application form mentioned in the IBPS RRB notification was September 21, 2025. However, it was extended by the exam authority.

The application fee for IBPS RRB was INR 850 for General and OBC candidates and INR 175 for SC/ST/PWD categories. Read below for more details on IBPS RRB application form 2025.

Q:   When IBPS RRB 2025 application form was released?
A: 

IBPS RRB 2025 application form was released on September 1, 2025. Interested candidates are required to fill the application form online till September 21, 2025. The application fee is INR 850 for General and OBC candidates and INR 175 for SC/ST/PWD categories. Candidates are not required to send the hard copy of their application forms. IBPS RRB application form is released to fill up vacancies for the posts of Officers Scale 1, 2, 3 and Office Assistant. IBPS RRB application form needs to be filled online. The application fee for the exam is accepted online only.   • Applicants need to visit the official website of IBPS
  • They need to click the ‘IBPS RRB Apply Online Link’ on the home page

Q:   What is IBPS RRB eligibility criteria?
A: 

IBPS RRB eligibility criteria is prescribed by the examination authority separately for different posts. The basic educational qualification for IBPS RRB exam is graduation. However, the educational qualification vary post-wise. The post-wise age limit for IBPS RRB exam is given below:

For Officer Scale- III (Senior Manager): Above 21 years-Below 40 years i.e. candidatesshould not have been born earlier than 03.06.1983 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive)
For Officer Scale- II (Manager): Above 21 years - Below 32 years i.e. candidatesshould not have been born earlier than 03.06.1991 and later than 31.05.2002 (both dates inclusive)
For Officer Scale- I (Assistant Manager): Above 18 years - Below 30 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 03.06.1993 and later than 31.05.2005 (both dates inclusive)
For Office Assistant (Multipurpose): Between 18 years and 28 years i.e. candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.06.1995 and later than 01.06.2005 (both dates inclusive)

The upper age limit is relaxed for candidates belonging to reserved categories.

Q:   What documents are required to fill IBPS RRB application form?
A: 

IBPS RRB application form is released online only. Before filling the application form, candidates must keep the following documents ready:

  • Scanned photograph
  • Scanned Signature
  • Scanned Left Thumb Impression
  • Scanned Handwritten Declaration
  • Credit/Debit Card for online fee transaction

A: 

The steps to upload the scanned photograph and signature while filling IBPS RRB application form are given below:

  • While filling in the IBPS RRB application form the candidate is provided with separate links for uploading photograph, signature, left thumb impression and hand written declaration and certificate 
  • Click on the respective link “Upload photograph/ signature/ left thumb impression/ hand written declaration/ certificate"
  • Browse and select the location where the Scanned photograph/ signature/ left thumb impression / hand written declaration/ certificate file has been saved
  • Select the file by clicking on it.
  • Click the ‘Open/Upload’ button
  • If the file size and format are not as prescribed, an error message is displayed
  • Preview the uploaded image as it will help to see the quality of the image. In case ofunclear / smudged, the same may be re-uploaded to the expected clarity /quality.
  • IBPS RRB Online Application will not be registered unless candidates upload their Photograph,  signature, left thumb impression, hand written declaration and certificate 
Q:   Can I apply for multiple posts in IBPS RRB exam?
A: 

Candidates can apply for multiple posts in IBPS RRB exam provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria. The post-wise eligibility criteria of IBPS RRB is given below.

Age Limit:

Office Assistant/Clerk: 18 to 28 years

Officers Scale I: Above 18 and below 30 years

Officer Scale II: Above 21 and below 32 years

Officer Scale III: Above 21 and below 40 years

Note: Relaxation in age is provided to candidates belonging to reserved categories

Educational Qualification

IBPS RRB Office Assistant Qualification

RRB Office Assistant qualification is graduation in any discipline. Candidates can check below the IBPS RRB Office Assistant educational qualification:

  • Candidates must have completed graduation from a recognised university
  • Proficiency in the local language is compulsory
  • Candidates must have a working knowledge of computer

IBPS RRB Qualification for Officer Scale-I (Assistant Manager)

  • Graduation from a recognised university
  • Preference will be given to candidates having a degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics or Accountancy
  • Proficiency in local language
  • Working knowledge of computer is necessary

IBPS RRB Educational Qualification for Officer Scale-II General Banking Officer (Manager)

  • Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized University or its equivalent with a minimum of 50 per cent marks in aggregate.
  • Preference will be given to the candidates having a degree in Banking, Finance, Marketing, Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, Animal Husbandry, Veterinary Science, Agricultural Engineering, Pisciculture, Agricultural Marketing and Cooperation, Information Technology, Management, Law, Economics and Accountancy.
  • Candidates must have two years of experience as an officer in a bank or financial institution.

Q:   How to select IBPS RRB exam centres while filling IBPS RRB application form?
A: 

The prelims exam of IBPS RRB is conducted at more than 170 cities while theMainsexam is conducted at more than 70 cities. The exam of IBPS RRB is conducted in various venues across many centres in India.  No request for change of centre for examination is entertained. IBPS, however, reserves the right to cancel any of the Examination Centres and/ or add some other Centres, at its discretion, depending upon the response, administrative feasibility, etc. IBPS also reserves the right to allot the candidate to any centre other than the one he/she has opted for and a candidate may be allocated a centre of exam outside the State/UT for which vacancies he/she is applying. Candidate will appear for the examination at an Examination Centre at his/her own risk and expenses and IBPS will not be responsible for any injury or losses etc. of any nature. Any unruly behaviour/misbehaviour in the examination hall may result in cancellation of candidature/ disqualification from the exam and also from the future exams conducted by IBPS.

Q:   Where can I find IBPS RRB application form link?

IBPS RRB application form link is made available on the official website. However, we have provided the direct link to apply for the exam. Only online applications are accepted for the exam. Candidates must apply within the prescribed deadline.

Q:   How can I pay IBPS RRB application fee?
A: 

The payment can be made by using Debit Cards (RuPay/Visa/MasterCard/Maestro), Credit Cards, Internet Banking,
IMPS, Cash Cards/ Mobile Wallets by providing information as asked on the screen. On successful completion of the transaction, an e-receipt will be generated. Candidates are required to take a printout of the e-receipt and online application form containing fee details. Please note that if the same cannot be generated online transaction may not have been successful.

Q:   Can I apply for IBPS RRB exam through smartphone?
A: 

The steps to fill IBPS RRB exam through smartphone are given below.

  • Go to the browser
  • Enter ibps.in
  • Click on the application form link
  • A message will appear on the screen saying "The website is viewable only in landscape mode"
  • Switch to "Desktop site". The option to change this is available in the browser
  • Or else set your screen in auto-rotation mode. This will enable the landscape mode
  • The application forms will appear the same as they appear on desktop
  • The mode of filing and submitting the forms is also the same as that is done on the desktop
Q:   How to edit IBPS RRB application form?
A: 

Editing of the IBPS RRB application form is not allowed after final submission. Prior to submission of the online application, candidates are advised to use the 'save and next' facility to verify the details in the online application form and modify the same if required. Candidates need to fill the application form online only. Candidates are not required to sent the hard copy of their application forms to the examination authority.

Q:   What are the documents required to fill IBPS RRB application form?

IBPS RRB application form can be filled online only. The fees need to be paid online only. The selection process comprises prelims, mains and interview. Candidates need to be 18 years inorder to apply for the exam.

Q:   What is my status of IBPS RRB application form?
A: 

If the candidate's registration is successful, applicants can take the printout of IBPS RRB application form. If the payment is not successful, the deducted amount will be refunded to candidates. 

Q:   I am not able to fill IBPS RRB application form at one go. How to save the details?
A: 

In case the candidate is unable to fill in the application form in one go, he/ she can save the data already entered. When
the data is saved, a provisional registration number and password will be generated by the system and displayed on the
screen. Candidate should note down the Provisional registration number and password. An Email & SMS indicating
the Provisional Registration number and Password will also be sent. They can reopen the saved data using Provisional
registration number and password and edit the particulars, if needed. Once the application is filled in completely,
candidate should submit the data.

Q:   I am not able to upload the photograph and signature in IBPS RRB application form?
A: 

The photograph and signature in the IBPS RRB application form should be uploaded as per the sizes. Only online applications are accepted for IBPS RRB exam. The apply online link is provided on this page.

Q:   What are the guidelines for scanning the documents for IBPS RRB application form?
A: 

The guidelines for scanning the documents for IBPS RRB application form are given below:

  • Set the scanner resolution to a minimum of 200 dpi (dots per inch)
  • Set Colour to True Colour
  • File Size as specified above
  • Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the photograph/signature/ left thumb impression / hand written declaration, then use the upload editor to crop the image to the final size (as specified above)
  • The image file should be JPG or JPEG format. An example file name is: image01.jpg or image01.jpeg. Image dimensions can be checked by listing the folder files or moving the mouse over the file image icon
  • Candidates using MS Windows/MSOffice can easily obtain documents in .jpeg format by using MS Paint or MSOffice Picture Manager
  • Scanned documents in any format can be saved in .jpg / .jpeg format by using ‘Save As’ option in the File menu. Size can be adjusted by using crop and then resize option
Q:   What are the don'ts related to the photo capture in IBPS RRB application form?
A: 

The don'ts related to the photo capture in IBPS RRB application form are given below:

  • Small size photograph is clicked/uploaded
  • Wearing coloured glasses or sunglasses
  • Shadow on face/ not facing the camera/ distorted face/ face covered with mask/blurred image
  • Photo taken in dark/ improper background
Q:   What should be the size of the photograph for IBPS RRB application form?
A: 

The dimensions and specifications related to the photograph for IBPS RRB application form are given below:

  • Photograph must be a recent passport style colour picture
  • Make sure that the picture is in colour, taken against a light-coloured, preferably white, background
  • Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face
  • If the picture is taken on a sunny day, have the sun behind you, or place yourself in the shade, so that you are not squinting and there are no harsh shadows
  • If you have to use flash, ensure there's no "red-eye"
  • If you wear glasses make sure that there are no reflections and your eyes can be clearly seen
  • Caps, hats and dark glasses are not acceptable. Religious headwear is allowed but it must not cover your face.
  • Dimensions 200 x 230 pixels (preferred)
  • Size of file should be between 20kb–50 kb
  • Ensure that the size of the scanned image is not more than 50kb. If the size of the file is more than 50 kb, then adjust the settings of the scanner such as the DPI resolution, no. of colours etc., during the process of scanning
  • Photo uploaded should be of appropriate size and clearly visible

IBPS RRB declaration is to be written in their own handwriting This needs to be written in English. The declaration should be in capital letters. Only online applications are accepted for the exam.

The details related to IBPS RRB exam centre are mentioned in the admit card. Candidates are required to reach the exam centre on time. Candidates reaching the exam centre late are not allowed to appear for the exam.
