Candidates need to write the IBPS RRB handwritten declaration in their own handwriting. It is a self-declaration that proves the accuracy and correctness of the data provided in the application form. Inorder to fill the application form correctly, it is important to read the guidelines carefully.
IBPS RRB Clerk exam pattern is such that it is divided into prelims and Mains exams. IBPS RRB PO exam pattern is such that it is divided into prelims exam, Mains exam and interview. IBPS RRB SO exam pattern comprises single online exam and interview. The exam pattern is explained below:
- This is an online test with objective-type questions
- The exam typically includes sections such as Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and/or Quantitative Aptitude
- The time duration is usually 45 minutes
- The total marks allotted to the prelims exam are 80
- The main exam is also an online test with objective-type questions
- The Mains exam comprises sections such as Reasoning, Quantitative Aptitude, General Awareness, English/Hindi Language, and Computer Knowledge
- The Mains exam comprises 2 hours
- Total marks allotted to the Mains exam are 200
Scores obtained by candidates in IBPS RRB exam are calculated based on the marking scheme. The marking scheme is prescribed by the examination authority. IBPS RRB marking scheme is given below:
- Each correct answer typically carries 1 mark
- For every incorrect answer, there is a penalty of 0.25 marks (1/4th of the mark assigned to that question)
- Unanswered questions do not attract any penalty
Main Exam
- The marking scheme for the main exam is generally similar to the preliminary exam, where each correct answer is awarded 1 mark.
- There is typically a penalty for wrong answers, which is around 0.25 marks (1/4th of the mark assigned to that question)

IBPS RRB handwritten declaration should be the same as the text given in the IBPS RRB notification. The text for IBPS RRB handwritten declaration is given below:
“I, _______ (Name of the candidate), hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true, and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required.”
Applicants must write the above text in English only. It should not be in capital letters, otherwise, it will be considered invalid.
IBPS RRB Handwritten Declaration: Know the Dimension
IBPS RRB Clerk exam pattern is divided into prelims and Mains exams. The prelims exam carries 80 marks. The Mains exam carries 200 marks. There are negative markings in both prelims and Mains exams.
