The Board of Secondary Odisha has released a new Exam Pattern for OSSTET 2023 exam. Those who are planning to appear for the exam must understand the exam pattern in detail as its important before starting preparation. There are two papers in the exam, Paper I is for Education Teachers and Paper II is for Physical Education Teachers. Each paper has four sections. After qualifying the OSSTET exam, the candidates are awarded with the eligibility Certificate. OSSTET does not guarantee any job after the candidate qualifies the exam. Though, the candidates will become eligible for the recruitment exam after qualifying for the OSSTET exam. The recruitment exam for recruiting teachers in the schools of Odisha. The candidates can apply for the different vacancies according to their eligibility. The Odisha Government releases the vacancies for the teachers according to the needs of the state.

The OSSTET exam is conducted in offline mode as a pen-and-paper based test. Candidates need to mark their answers on the OMR sheet. The candidates need to fill the sheet carefully as no extra OMR sheet will not be given in the exam. However, the OSSTET application process is complete online process. The candidates have to fill out he application form online on the official website. Other than this the application fee have to paid online.
