The Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE) will soon release the notification for the conduct of the Rajasthan Eligibility Examination for Teachers (REET) 2026. The state-level Rajasthan Teacher Eligibility Test (RTET) or REET 2025 determines the eligibility of candidates as Primary Teachers (Classes 1 to 5) and Upper Primary Teachers (Classes 6 to 8). Qualifying for the REET exam 2025 is mandatory for candidates to become eligible for a teaching job in Rajasthan.

REET Eligibility Criteria 2025
The candidates can check the basic eligibility for the REET 2025 here:
- Age: There is no age limit for the REET or REET exam, candidates with relevant educational qualifications from any age group can apply for the exam.
- Educational Qualification: The minimum educational qualification that a candidate should possess is Senior Secondary or Graduation with at least 50 per cent marks and passed or appearing in the final year of a 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or BEd.

REET Qualifying Marks 2025
Candidates appearing for REET will be selected based on their performance in the written exam. All candidates have to score minimum qualifying marks to qualify for the REET 2025 exam. The REET 2026 application form will be released next year, that is, 2026. The Board of Secondary Education Rajasthan (RBSE) will invite online applications for the REET exam 2026 after the release of notification. The application form will be active for around 20 to 25 days on the exam website.
The maximum marks in the REET exam are 150 each for Level 1 and Level 2. As per the REET paper pattern, a total of 150 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) are asked in the exam in each level. Each question carried 1 mark. These questions are asked from the prescribed subjects and syllabus. Candidates need to obtain the minimum qualifying marks to clear the REET exam.
