REET syllabus 2022 is prescribed by the Rajasthan Board of Secondary Education (RBSE). The REET 2022 syllabus has been released along with the notification PDF. The REET syllabus differs for Level 1 and Level 2.   • Child Development: Concept of growth and development, Principles and dimensions of development. Factors affecting development (especially in the context of family and school) and its relationship with learning

REET Language-I & Language-II Syllabus for Level 1

The REET Language-I and Language-II need to be different. Candidates can make choice of languages from - Hindi, English, Urdu, Sanskrit, Sindhi, Punjabi and Gujarati. Have a look at the syllabus for English language below:

REET Environmental Science Syllabus for Level 1

  • Family - Personal relationships, nuclear and joint families, social abuses (child marriage, dowry system, child labour, theft); addiction (intoxication, smoking) and its personal, social and economical bad effects.
  • Clothes and Habitats - Clothes for different seasons; maintenance of clothes at home; handloom and power loom; habitats of living beings, various types of houses; cleanliness of houses and neighbouring.
  • Profession - Profession of your surroundings (stitching clothes, gardening, farming, animal rearing, vegetable vendor etc.), small and cottage industries; major industries of Rajasthan State, Need for consumer protection, co-operative societies areas; Different types of materials for building houses.

A: The questions asked in REET exam are of Class 12 difficulty level.

A: In both REET Level 1 and 2, one mark is awarded for every correct answer. 

Q: Is there a negative marking in REET exam?

A: There is no negative marking in the REET exam for an incorrect answer or a question left unanswered.

Q: What is the duration of the REET exam?

A: The REET exam is of 150 minutes duration, that is, two hours thirty minutes. 

Q: Is it mandatory to appear for both REET Level 1 and Level 2?

A: No, candidates who plan to teach Classes 1-5 need to give REET Level 1. On the other hand, candidates who plan to teach Classes 6-8 need to appear for Level 2. Candidates who plan to teach Classes 1-8 need to take both papers.

A: The objective-type multiple-choice questions (MCQs) are asked in the REET exam.
