The following are the benefits of passing the REET exam: a) Candidates may apply for regular teaching positions that may become available in the state. B) Using their REET scores, candidates may apply for Subject Matter Expert positions in any organisation. C) Candidates can apply for state-wide contractual teaching jobs.

REET Main Exam Pattern 2023

The candidates who are going to appear for the REET Main exam for the recruitment of third-grade teachers in the upper primary and primary schools of Rajasthan must go through the exam pattern of the main exam. The exam pattern has been given below for the candidates:

  • There are five sections in Paper 1- Child Development and Pedagogy, Language I, Language II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies. 
  • The difficulty level of the paper will be of the Class 12 standard. 
  • Candidates have to complete Paper 1 in 150 minutes or two hours and thirty minutes.

REET 2023 Grade 3 Exam Pattern

The Grade 3 teacher exam is taken to recruit teachers in the schools of Rajasthan. Candidates who have qualified for the 2022 exam can appear for the Grade 3 exam. The grade three exam is scheduled for the month of February. The exam pattern for Rajasthan Grade 3 exam pattern has been given below: 

  • The exam is conducted for two levels- Level 1 (classes 1 to 5) and Level 2 (classes 6 to 8) to recruit teachers in Rajasthan primary and upper primary schools. 
  • The duration of the exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes  
  • There is a negative marking scheme in the Grade 3 exam. 1/3 mark is deducted for each incorrect answer.
