RRB NTPC Preparation Tips 2025 for Mathematics

This section carries 30 questions in the first stage CBT and 35 questions in the second stage CBT. Questions are asked from Number System, Decimals, Fractions, LCM, HCF, Ratio and Proportions, Percentage, Mensuration, Time and Work, Time and Distance, Simple and Compound Interest, Profit and Loss, Elementary Algebra, Geometry and Trigonometry, Elementary Statistics, etc. The tips to crack the exam are given below:

RRB NTPC Preparation Tips for General Awareness and Current Affairs

This section has the maximum number of weightage in the RRB NTPC exam. In the first stage, CBT a total of 40 questions are asked, while in the second stage CBT a total of 50 questions are asked. Questions are usually asked from current events of National and International Importance, Games and Sports, Art and Culture, History of India, Common Abbreviations, Indian Polity, and Governance, etc. Candidates need to read magazines, newspapers, weekly GK blog online, watch news to increase their knowledge. RRB NTPC Preparation Tips for General Intelligence and Reasoning

The General Intelligence and Reasoning section is one of the most scoring sections. In the first stage CBT, a total of 30 questions are asked while 35 questions are asked in the second stage CBT. The final RRB NTPC post allotment depends on the CBT 1 and 2 scores, order of post preference, availability of vacancies in chosen zones. Candidates are required to enter their RRB NTPC post preferences while filling the application form. The eligibility attached to various posts are different.
