To calculate accurate SSC CHSL Tier 2 scores through the answer key, candidates must keep the marking scheme of the exam in mind. In SSC CHSL Tier 2, 3 marks are awarded for every correct answer, and 1 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer. The total weightage of the Tier 1 exam is 200 marks. This means that to calculate SSC CHSL scores, candidates must give themselves marks in the following manner:

• +2 for a correct answer
• +0 for an unattempted question
• - 0.50 for an incorrect answer

In case, candidates are not satisfied with the given answer to any question in the tentative key, they can challenge it in online mode in the prescribed format. However, candidates have to pay INR 100 per question as the fee for challenging/raising objections against the SSC CHSL answer key. Candidates can pay the fee online mode.
