TNTET Application Form 2025 OUT: The authority extended the TNTET 2025 registration last date to apply. Now candidates can apply until September 10 instead of September 8. The last date for fee payment is September 10. Candidates who have not yet filled up the application form and are interested to do so can fill out the registration form via visiting the official website. However, a direct link is also provided below. The application form was released along with the TNTET notification PDF. The TNTET Paper 1 exam will be conducted tentatively on November 15 and Paper 2 on November 16, 2025. 

Before applying online for the Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TNTET), candidates were advised to go through the prescribed eligibility criteria. TNTET Application Form 2025: How to Apply Online?

Candidates need to apply online for the TNTET exam by the method as mentioned below:

  • Visit at trb.tn.gov.in
  • Click on the ‘TNTET 2025 Online Application Form’ link
  • Click on the ‘Online Application Form’ link
  • Click on 'New User' tab
  • Go through the instructions carefully and accept the declaration
  •  Fill out the complete registration form
  • Go on to fill out the TNTET application form
  • Upload the scanned documents- passport size photo (20-60 KB) and signature (10-30 KB) in JPG/JPEG /PNG format
  • Pay the application fee
  • Submit the form and save it

Candidates need to undertake the TNTET online application process separately for Paper 1 and Paper 2.

TNTET Application Fee 2025

Candidates have to pay the TNTET application fee online using different Payment Gateways (Net banking/ Credit Card / Debit Card), no offline mode of payment is available. Candidates have to pay the TNTET exam fee for Paper 1 and Paper 2 separately. Let’s have a look at the examination fee structure for different categories below.

TNTET Photograph specification

  • Passport size photograph must be recent
  • Only coloured photographs are allowed
  • The size of the scanned photographs should be from 20 to 60 KB
  • The scanned photograph must be in JPG/JPEG /PNG format

TNTET Signature Specification

  • The size of the scanned signature should be from 10 to 30 KB
  • The scanned signature must be in JPG/JPEG /PNG format

There is important for a candidate to know about the specifications to apply for the TNTET exam. Candidate should be 18 years of age minimum to fill the form. There is no upper age limit but it is required for a candidate to go through the notification properly before submitting the form online.

TNTET Application 2025: Important Points to Note

Candidates have to go through the following stages to apply for TNTET:

  • Candidates have to apply online through the trb.tn.gov.in. Click on the link appearing on the page.
  • Candidates need to apply separately for Paper 1 and Paper 2
  •  Active email ID and mobile number are necessary for online application as all communication related to upcoming TNTET events will be shared through them
  • Candidates must provide their basic details including the candidate's name, paper applied, communal category, date of birth, and address. Candidates should be very cautious while filling up their details as they will not be given another chance to change the details after the final submission.

Yes, the syllabus of TNTET Paper 1 and 2 varies. Candidates who give Paper 1 is of primary level that is who want to teach from classes 1 to 5. On the other hand, Paper 2 is for upper primary level that is for those candidates who want to teach from classes 6 to 8.

The TNTET admit card consists of important information including candidates name, photo, exam centre, shift timings, etc. Without the hall ticket, candidate will not be allowed to sit in the exam.

No. Candidate can't download their TNTET hall ticket in an offline mode. It should be downloaded in an online mode by visiting the official website at trb.tn.gov.in. A direct link will also be provided here once it is released to download the admit card.
