TNTET Admit Card 2025 was released by the Teachers Recruitment Board (TRB) on November 3 at at trb.tn.gov.in. Candidates could download their hall ticket by logging in to their registered account. The TNTET Paper 2 was conducted on November 16 from 10 AM to 1 PM. Paper 1 was conducted on November 15, 2025. The duration of the exam was three hours. Candidates must download the hall ticket and carry it to the exam centre on the day of the examination. Other wise candidates will not be allowed to take the exam. The Tamil Nadu Teachers Eligibility Test (TNTET) is conducted for two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. If a candidate applies for both papers, he/ she has to download both hall tickets separately.

Candidates need to use the User ID and Password for downloading their TNTET hall tickets. Check below the method to download TNTET admit card:

  • Click on the Login tab
  • Enter User ID and Password
  • Click on Dashboard
  • Proceed to download TNTET admit card
  • Take a printout of the hall ticket

Note:  As per the notification by the Teachers Recruitment Board Tamil Nadu, “Candidates must know that the decision of the Board to issue Hall Tickets to all applicants is purely provisional and does not confer any acceptance of their claim in the TNTET application. The Board reserves its right to reject the candidature at any stage of the recruitment.”

In the TNTET selection process, there is no interview stage. Candidates are selected based on the written examination and document verification. It is a computer-based test that evaluates the eligibility of candidates for teaching positions in Tamil Nadu.

Methods to Download TNTET Admit Card 2025 if Forgotten User ID/Password

See below steps to download hall ticket: 
Forgot User ID
  • Visit at trb.tn.gov.in and click on ‘Forgot User ID’.
  • Enter registered Email ID and click on ‘Submit’.
  • User ID will be sent to registered Email ID.
Forgot Password
  • Visit at trb.tn.gov.in and click on ‘Forgot password
  • Enter your User ID, and Email and click on ‘Submit’
  • The link will be sent to the registered mail
  • Click on the link to reset the password, and choose a strong one
  • Type the new secret password and log in again
Note: Candidates who forgot their Password can also log in using their DOB instead of their Password.

Yes, the syllabus of TNTET Paper 1 and 2 varies. Candidates who give Paper 1 is of primary level that is who want to teach from classes 1 to 5. On the other hand, Paper 2 is for upper primary level that is for those candidates who want to teach from classes 6 to 8.
