UTET exam pattern 2024 is prescribed by the Uttarakhand Board of Secondary Education (UBSE). UTET 2024 exam comprises two papers- Paper 1 and Paper 2. The UTET exam pattern differs for both papers. As per the UTET exam pattern and structure, the exam is held offline in pen-and-paper mode. Candidates are given two hours and thirty minutes to attempt the paper comprising 150 MCQs of one mark each. Candidates should be fully aware of the latest exam pattern to know the structure of the UTET question paper 2024. 

For the ease of candidates, the Uttarakhand Teacher Eligibility Test (UTET) 2024 exam pattern is shared below in detail for Paper 1 and Paper 2. The main objective of the UTET exam is to access eligible candidates for teaching posts in different government and private schools of Uttarakhand. For this purpose, the UBSE conducts the written exam. Candidates who qualify for the exam are given a UTET certificate as a testimony of their credibility.

Q:   Is there any sectional time limit in the UPTET exam?
A: 

No, there is no sectional time limit in the UPTET examination. Candidates have to complete the whole paper in two hours and thirty minutes. That is, candidates can solve any question in the paper but the total time to finish the exam is 2.5 hours.

Note: Candidates need to select Language I and Language II while applying. Candidates will not be able to change their choice of language after the submission of the application. In Language II, candidates can choose any of the given languages – Hindi, English, Sanskrit and Urdu. Also, you cannot choose the same language for the Language I and Language II sections.
