RRB Result 2026: The Railway Recruitment Board releases the RRBs results online for different phases of exams including RRB NTPC Result 2026, RRB ALP Result 2026, RRB Group D Result 2026 and others. The result links will be made available region-wise here once it is announced. The result will be released in the form of PDF and consists of the roll numbers of qualified candidates. Along with the result, RRB cut off will also be made available.

The examination authority will also releases the final answer key and question papers. Candidates will be able to download their scorecards for the RRB Exam by logging with the required credentials. 

RRB NTPC 2025 Result

RRBs will soon release RRB NTPC Graduate result for CBAT/TST. Candidates qualifying this stage are called for Railway NTPC DV and medical exam. The authority is expected to announce RRB Group D result in March 2026.

How to Check Railway RRB Result 2026?

The RRB result will be announced online for different stages of recruitment. The authority will not send any email intimation related to the declaration of the result. It will be released on the official portal. Candidates can check the railway result using the process below.

Candidates should note that at times due to heavy load on the server, the result page might take some time to load. Candidates must keep patience, wait for some time, and then try to download their results.

Q:   How is RRB NTPC score calculated?
A: 

The marks of RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam is calculated based on the total marks. Normalisation of marks are done since the exam is conducted in multiple shifts. There are also negative marking in the exam.

Q:   How the empanelling of candidates is done in RRB Group D exam?
A: 

Empanelling of candidates in RRB Group D exam is done based on their performance in CBT, subject to their qualifying in PET. The appointment is offered to selected candidates provided they qualify the requisite medical fitness test and document verification. In case two or more candidates secure the same marks, their merit position is determined by the age criteria. The letter of appointment is issued by the Railway Administrations. Appointment of selected candidates is subject to their passing requisite Medical Fitness Test to be conducted by the Railway Administration, final verification of educational and community certificates and verification of antecedents/character of the candidates. It may also be noted that all candidates successful in DV are sent for Medical Examination. Clearing of such Medical Examination by additional candidates (those called for DV beyond the notified number of vacancies) will give such candidates no right to be considered for appointment. Candidates may note that RRBs/RRCs only recommend names of the empanelled candidates and appointment is offered only by the respective Railway Administrations.

Details Provided in RRB Scorecard 2026

The RRB recruitment is the exam that is conducted by the Indian Railways for the recruitment to several positions in the Indian Railways. It is held at national level. Yes, RRB Group D result is declared after the marks of the candidates are normalised using the equi-percentile method. The percentile score of each candidate is converted by RRBs into normalised marks by interpolation of the raw marks into the base shift. The calculation of base shift is done using the standard mathematical formula of interpolation. The purpose of interpolation of the raw marks into the base shift is done to decide the minimum qualifying marks as well as give weightage in marks to CCAA candidates.

RRB Railway Result 2026: Score Calculation

RRBs adopt percentile-based normalization for the calculation of the RRB scores. Percentile scores are the scores based on the relative performance of all those who appear for the exam. Therefore, the marks obtained are transformed into the scale ranging from 100 to 0 for each shift of examinees. The score of RRB exam is calculated as per the marking process shared below-

  • Candidates get one mark for each right answer.
  • 1/3 of marks are deducted for wrong answers.
  • The score is calculated based on the number of correct answers after applying the penalty for wrong answers.

  • In case of shortfall in the empanelment of candidates, RRB reserves the right to utilize the candidates down the merit list if required, as per the merit and option of the candidates

Candidates are called for document verification as per their merit. Post document verification, candidates are called for medical.

In case of two or more candidates secure same normalised percentile score, their merit position is determined by age criteria.
