RRB Exam Dates 2025 OUT: RRB NTPC, Group D, ALP Exam Schedule & Shift Timing

RRB NTPC selection process comprises various stages such as CBT 1, CBT 2, CBAT/CBTST, document verification and medical exam. The post-wise selection process is given below: First stage CBT, second stage CBT & Computer-based Aptitude Test is conducted for the posts of Station Master and Traffic Assistant. Subsequently, there will be document verification and medical examination. First stage CBT, Second stage CBT and Typing Skill Test are conducted for Junior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist and Senior Time Keeper. Candidates need to appear for document verification and medical examination. For Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Senior Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Commercial Apprentice, two-stage CBT is conducted, followed by document verification and medical examination.

For the RRB Group D exam, the age of candidates should be between 18 and 36 years. Candidates must have completed Class 10 or ITI or equivalent or NCVT/SCVT or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT to apply for the exam. The prescribed medical standards for the exam is given below.

To prepare for RRB Group D exam, candidates need to go through the exam pattern and syllabus. Candidates must choose the right study material for the exam. They should attempt mock tests and solve the previous years' question papers. Make a habit of studying for at least three or four hours a day. RRB NTPC salary is different for different posts. The starting basic salary range offered to undergraduate posts is INR 19,900 to 21,700. While, the graduate post employees are offered RRB NTPC salary in the range of INR 25,500 to INR 35,400. The monthly basic salary for Junior Clerk cum Typist is INR 19,900 while it is INR 35,400 for Station Master and Commercial Apprentice. Candidates are also entitled to Dearness Allowance (DA), Travel Allowance (TA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), pension benefits, and medical reimbursements. RRB group D exam is conducted in both the language which is Hindi and English both and these questions are in the form of objective, so don't worry about the questions in RRB group D. Keep focusing on the syllabus.

RRB Group D selection process comprises CBT, PET/PST, Document Verification and Medical Exam. The PET/PST is qualifying in nature. Though PET/PST is qualifying in nature, candidates are required to clear it. There is weightage of marks for this stage. The final selection of candidates is done based on CBT provided they qualify PET/PST, medical exam and document verification. Medical exam is conducted by the railway hospitals.

The House Rent Allowance (HRA) depends on the city of posting, with X category cities receiving 24% (?4,320), Y category cities receiving 16 per cent (INR 2,880), and Z category cities receiving 8 per cent (INR 1,440) of the basic pay. Additionally, a Dearness Allowance (DA) of 34 per cent on the basic pay is provided, which amounts to INR 6,120. Candidates are also entitled to a travel allowance based on their posting location. The approximate gross salary is around INR 27,920 in X cities, INR 27,000 in Y cities, and INR 25,560 in Z cities.

RRB Group D application form status link is activated after the completion of the application process. Candidates can check their application status till the completion of the CBT. Through RRB Group D application status, candidates can view the eligibility/ineligibility status of their applications. To check the application status, candidates are required to enter registration number/date of birth and security code.

RRBs also release the modification link for those candidates whose application forms are rejected on the grounds of invalid signatures and photographs. Such candidates can avail this facility to re-upload their photographs and signatures as per the specified format. The modification link and application status are made available on the respective official websites of RRBs.To check the application status and upload the photograph and signature, candidates are required to login with registration number, date of birth, and security code.
