UTET Cut Off 2025: Qualifying/Passing Marks for OBC, SC, ST, General

The UTET cutoff is the minimum qualifying marks that candidates needed to pass the exam and become eligible as teachers in primary and upper primary schools in Uttarakhand, India.

The UTET minimum qualifying marks are similar to the cutoff marks. Officially, there is no UTET cut-off.  The UTET cut-off is often referred to as the minimum qualifying marks. Candidates from General category need to secure at least 90 marks (60 per cent) to qualify for the UTET passing marks. On the other hand, reserved category candidates from the Scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST)/ Other Backward Classes (OBC)/ Ex-Servicemen (Ex-S)/ Persons with Disability (PwD) category need to have a minimum of 82 marks (55 per cent).

The UTET exam consists of two papers and the total marks depends upon the papers. For paper 1 it is 150 and for paper 2 also 150. Those candidates who want to teach from Class I to V give first paper and those from classes VI to VIII give second paper. 

Yes, the UTET cut off is the same for Paper 1 and Paper 2 as each carried the same marks, that is, 150 marks. It will be released by the Board of School Education,  Uttarakhand. Generally, it will be announced along with the Result.
