AIIMS Delhi was established in 1952. It was granted the 'Autonomous' status in 1956 by an Act of Parliament.
AIIMS Delhi is the first AIIMS to be established in the country. The institute is recognised as an Institute of National Importance. Commonly asked questions On Fees and Eligibility
Yes, AIIMS Delhi is almost free for all the programmes including MBBS MD MS PG Diploma M.Ch. DM DNB etc. For MBBS the admission charges (non-refundable) are INR 25 at the time of admission and INR 35 per day for the first 10 days. Other than this, there is no annual fee at AIIMS Delhi. Students must make a one-time payment between INR 5,000 to INR 6,000 which is the fee for the complete MBBS course of 5.5 years.
AIIMS Delhi BSc is a UG level course, offered for the duration of 2 to 4 years with an annual intake of 87 students. AIIMS Delhi offers PB BSc and BSc courses such as Nursing, Operation Theatre Technology, Paramedical, Medical Technology in Radiography (MTR), and Nursing available at AIIMS Delhi. AIIMS Delhi Cutoff 2025
As per the recent NEET UG MBBS cutoff 2025, the Round 1 closed off on rank 48 for General AI quota students. Whereas, the NEET UG Round 1 cutoff for the General AI quota students for the year 2024 closed off at 47. The same category cutoff closed off at 57 in the year 2023.
As per the recent Paramedical cutoff 2025, Round 2 for General AI quota candidates for BSc specialisations closed off between the ranks 9 and 293. Specialisations of BSc such as Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imagine Technology (MRIT) and Operation Theatre Technology received the highest level of competition with rank 9 and 39. AIIMS Delhi paramedical cutoff 2024 was concluded for a few UG courses. These courses include B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology, B.Sc. in Dental Operating Room Assistant, Bachelor of Optometry (BOPTM) and Bachelor of Medical Radiology and Imagine Technology (MRIT). The cutoff was released for different categories belonging to the All India quota. Among the General AI category candidates, the cutoff ranks were closed at a range of 132 and 856. All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS Delhi offers various programmes at several levels, such as UG, PG, PhD, etc. The programmes are offered across various fields, including Medicine, Nursing, Medical, and others. The mode of All India Institute of Medical Sciences AIIMS Delhi course admissions is online. Admission to various courses is based on the scores of entrance exams. For admission to its MBBS programme, All India Medical Institute Delhi accepts the NEET UG exam, while for admission to its PG programmes (MD, MS, MDS), the institute accepts the scores of INICET. AIIMS Delhi admissions also accept the scores of the INI SS exam for admission to its super speciality courses.

The hostel facility of AIIMS Delhi, other than the residential building, provides a mess, a canteen, a juice shop and an Amul shop, etc., for the convenience of the students.
The college has single, double or triple occupancy rooms along with family rooms for married students. Most single rooms are furnished with a bed, a cupboard, a table and chair and a bookshelf. The married accommodation is also furnished accordingly. The hostel rooms also have a facility of attached washrooms but this facility is only accessible in married accommodation along with a few hostels. AIIMS Delhi INICET cutoff 2024 was concluded with the release of last round of seat allotment results. Among the General AI category candidates, the round 1 cutoff for different specialisations varied between 1 and 2904 for various MD/MS/MCh/DM specialisations. The most difficult specialisation among the General AI category was MDS in Orthodontics. On the other hand, the easiest specialisation was MD in Anatomy.
AIIMS Delhi EWS category cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to the MBBS on the basis of NEET UG exam results. The last round cutoff was closed at 214. In 2023 and 2022, the closing ranks among the EWS AI category were 258 and 195, respectively. Yes, AIIMS does offer admission to NRI students. However, there is no seat reserved for them. Seats are available across every course offered at AIIMS Delhi and the requirement for admission across all courses is also similar to that of domestic students applying for the course.
- MBBS: There is no seat reserved for OCI and NRI candidates. Foreign candidates must have atleast 60% aggregate with PCB and English in Class 12 or equivalent.
- MSc: The eligibility criteria for the foreign candidates will be at par with the eligibility criteria for Indian candidates.
- MD/ MS/ MCh/ DM: A combined merit list of the sponsored/ foreign candidates is made. Seats are allotted purely on merit on the basis of performance in the entrance test
