Pondicherry University Admissions 2025 commenced with the application process for CUET UG, this year. The central university offers various integrated PG, postgraduate and doctoral-level programmes in the fields of Science, Arts, Management, Commerce and Law, among others. Pondicherry University admission to a majority of integrated PG and PG courses at Pondicherry University is subject to CUET UG and CUET PG exams. Puducherry Technological University.

Placements: The average package is about 6 LPA, but the highest can be up to 18-20 LPA, and you also get an internship in big companies like Qualcomm and more. The rest is up to you, the harder you work, the more you will get. The T&P cell helps you get a job.

Infrastructure: Hostel life is very good. The food is a little bit average because most of the dishes are south indian, but the taste is very decent and much better than the other college hostel and mess. You can request the menu change as the menu is decided by the students only.

Faculty: Faculty, curriculum, and exams are very good. Some of the faculty are non-cooperative, but the rest are all very good, very helpful, and supportive. They help you in all ways. Exam questions are very easy, but you still have to study very well, and the exams are conducted very strictly.

Absolutely satisfied because of campus life, good faculties, and good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Talking about placements on this campus, it's very few. Less than 50% of students are getting placed. Top recruiting companies are multinational companies. Only a lesser percentage. Top roles offered are finance analyst and finance manager.

Infrastructure: Our department is the biggest in the university. Our department has good infrastructure, good facilities, and an atmosphere. We have campus Wi-Fi all over the department. We also have two 24-hour working libraries. A total of 20 hostels are on this campus. For boys and girls, separate hostels with good infrastructure and atmosphere.

Faculty: Teachers in our department are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is great. The interactions with teachers are very comfortable and friendly. The course curriculum is, of course, relevant. In my opinion, the semester exams are quite easy.

Other: I chose the course M.Com in business finance specialization. I chose this course because I'm really interested in studying this topic. A lot of events happen on our campus, and we celebrate all of the events. Scholarships are available to all students. Extracurricular activities like sports and arts. Everything is possible here.

Insights on Course Structure and Faculty in Computer Science.

Placements: Nearly most of the students were placed in my batch, and it's still going on. Up to date, the highest salary was offered by Content Sack, a figure of 13 LPA. There are further more companies offering a minimum of 4 LPA. The company named Zoho took an intern from our batch, and other companies like Hexaware and Multicore also provided internships.

Infrastructure: Coming to infrastructure, I would say that it's below average. They provide Wi-Fi within the circumstances, and it's not good either. The classrooms are good. Coming to labs, it's very well-equipped with updated systems, and the library is provided with more than 10,000 books of different genres.

Faculty: The faculty was quite short. It led to difficulties in the semester and providing quality education. Not all of them are good. There are some staff who take good care of your time. The curriculum is very strict to the course perspective, and they take advantage of every program conducted through the respective departments.

Other: I've chosen Computer Science and Engineering because it's a course everyone prefers these days, and I thought it has a good future. I wish they will focus on one perspective so we can lead in that domain. If we're talking about fests and extracurricular activities, they rarely happen.

Placements: The percentage of placement for my course was 75%. The highest package was 24 LPA. The average package was 4 LPA. The companies were recruiting like Wipro, Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys, and Google. The percentage of getting an internship for my course was 60%.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure and facilities were nice. College did not provide internet. Labs were good. Classrooms were nice. There were 3 libraries. All types of books were available. Hostel rooms were good. But food was average. Sports and medical facilities were good.

Faculty: Teachers were very helpful to us. Teachers were very qualified, like Ph.D. master in their subject. Mostly all teachers were very experienced. This course was relevant to software. Semester exams were pretty easy. The percentage of passing was 90%.

This college offers courses at very low prices.

Placements: The placement percentage here is quite good, about 70% of students get placement from this course. Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Stand Life Sciences, and Wipro Students are working in companies like this. After completing this course, students are doing various jobs such as bioinformatics analyst, computational biologist, bioinformatics engineer, etc. The highest package is 15 LPA and the lowest package is 4 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities here are very good. This college has various facilities like free Wi-Fi, college laboratory, central library, various indoor games, etc. The classrooms are very large and equipped with high technology. There is a hostel facility here where students can stay for very little money. The quality of the food in the mess is very good.

Faculty: The teachers are all very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very good, and all are very experienced teachers. This course curriculum is relevant, as it makes the students industry-ready. The faculty members are very good, very helpful, the semester exams are not very difficult, and the pass percentage is 40% in each subject.

You can have memories and friends, but they don't offer proper placements.

Placements: Many of them and CSE students got placed in our batch. The highest package is 14 LPA and the lowest is 4.5 LPA. Our batch placement offers in not good in developing the student's skills before the placement offers so it is difficult for many of the students to be placed mostly mechanical and civil students.

Infrastructure: There are no proper classrooms for both students and staff. The hostel is in the worst condition. There is no quality food and water. The building is too old. The library is a good place to read and spend some useful time in our college. The canteen is so good and for six months once we used to conduct sports event without fails.

Faculty: Faculty members are the worst but few staff members are there for the improvement of the students' careers like Elayarani mam and Sathyamurthy sir. The pass percentage is 50 out of 100. In this internal marks are 40 so we can easily score higher in the semester examination without any arrears.

Other: My batch was quite different. Some of them are too good to hang out some of them are so different from ours. Many of them are other state students (tuner, Salem, thuja, prem promote Kar, murali). College has to appoint young staffs to every department. Every year PECOFES cultural fest will give a different vibe among entire college students in Pondicherry.

The university facilitates a monthly fellowship of INR 8,000 to all the full-time PhD scholars. Pondicherry University offers a number of scholarships to deserving students with the motive of extending financial aid and promoting educational opportunities. Merit scholarships: The first three candidates who secure the highest percentage of marks in the PG admission entrance examination are eligible for the award of a Merit Scholarship worth INR 2,000, INR 1,500 and INR 1,000 per month, respectively for the first semester. For the subsequent semesters, the merit scholarship at the same rate is awarded to the first three candidates who secured the highest marks in the previous semester.

Library: Pondicherry University houses Ananda Rangapillai Library which is renowned for its disabled-friendly modern infrastructure for the visually challenged among the proactive services with RFID technology and 24/7 remote access to a collection of 2.7 lakh of e-resources (e-books, e-journals, e-databases, e-theses, academic online videos, video talks, etc.). It has a total collection of 4.97 lakh prints, e-resources and 38,011 e-journals.
Hostels: Pondicherry University has 17 hostels on campus, out of which 11 are for boys, five for female students/ research scholars and one for foreign students. Yes, Pondicherry University has several provisions for differently abled candidates. Firstly, such candidates are exempted from payment of entire fees. Moreover, 5% of seats in each course are reserved for differently abled candidates.
