The hotel management entrance exam, NCHMCT JEE will be held on April 25, 2026 . NCHMCT JEE Dates were announced in the official notification.  It is the correct time to follow a two-monthly preparation strategy for NCHMCT JEE 2026 as only a few months are left. NCHMCT JEE 2026 will be held from 10 am to 1 pm. As per the NCHMCT JEE Exam Pattern, there will be 200 MCQs each carrying 4 marks. Thus, the total marks in exam are 800, but there will be a negative marking of 1 mark for any wrong attempt. The exam will be held in CBT mode across 78 cities in India.

Two-month Preparation Strategy for NCHMCT JEE 2026

The last months must be utilised strategically. The days left before the exam must be divided into four cycles:

  1. Cycle 1: Prepare the topics that are important and have not yet been started
  2. Cycle 2: Revise the important topics
  3. Cycle 3: Review the preparation by taking mocks
  4. Cycle 4: Prepare the topics that need more attention

A good score in NCHMCT JEE is around 430–450 out of 480 for top IHMs like Delhi, Mumbai, or Bengaluru. Scores between 380–420 are also good for reputed hotel management colleges.

Not all topics need equal attention. Some of us are good with GK and some are good with maths, while others have a stronghold over English.
