MAH HM CET 2026 Syllabus: The Maharashtra state CET cell will share the MAH HM CET syllabus 2026 for undergraduate and postgraduate entrance exams separately. Candidates can also check the syllabus for MAH BHMCT CET and MAH MHMCT CET on Shiksa's page. MAH HM CET Exam Date will be announced along with the MAH HM CET Notification 2026. MAH MHMCET Exam 2026 date will also be mentioned in the same. The candidates who wish to appear for the exam must prepare as per the syllabus, as all questions in MAH HM CET is asked based on the topics in the syllabus. MAH HM CET 2026 Syllabus - BHMCT CET

CET cell will frame questions in the BHMCT CET 2026 from the following areas:

  • English Language
  • Reasoning (Verbal and Arithmetic)
  • General Knowledge & Awareness including questions on current national, international affairs, culture, trade & commerce, sports, scientific inventions and discoveries, travel/tourism etc.

MAH HM CET 2026 Syllabus - MHMCT CET

For the MHMCT CET 2026, candidates have to prepare the following:

  • Food and Beverage Operation: Food and Beverage Service Operations, related terminology, Inventory control, Food & Beverage equipment and infrastructure.
  • Food Production: Food Production operations, Indian & International cuisines and related terminology, Bakery and Confectionary, Hygiene and Safety standards, Kitchen equipment and Infrastructure
  • Rooms division: Housekeeping and front office operations and related terminology, fabrics & textiles, Planning & designing of hospitality organisations, Laundry operations and procedures.
  • English: Word meaning, comprehension, antonyms and synonyms, idioms and phrases, word spellings.
  • Hospitality Industry related: Types of tourism, hotel and restaurant brands and segments, Airlines, hospitality terms, hospitality-related organizations and regulatory bodies).

MAH HM CET 2026 exam will be conducted in online (computer-based) mode. The BHMCT CET lasts for 90 minutes, and the MHMCT CET for 60 minutes.

The candidates must be Indian citizens with at least 45% marks in HSC exam for UG programs. For PG programs, a Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology with 50% marks and 45% for reserved categories and PWD is mandatory.

The fee range of MAH HM CET accepting colleges vary depending on the institute. Government colleges like MSIHMCT charge around INR 2.5–3 lakhs, while private colleges like Sinhgad Institute or AISSMS College may charge between INR 5–6.5 Lacs for the complete course.

Candidates need to carry a valid photo ID proof such as PAN Card, Passport, Driving Licence, Voter ID, Aadhaar Card with photo, Bank Passbook with photo, College/University ID, or Employee/Bar Council ID along with the MAH HM CET 2025 admit card. Ration Card and Learner's Licence are not accepted.
