MAH HM CET Counselling 2026: BHMCT & MHMCT Merit List, Seat Allotment, Procedure, Cutoff

The MAH HM CET counselling is an entirely online process. The counselling process includes the following steps:

1. CAP (Centralised Admission Process) registration
2. Document verification
3. Release of Provisional merit list
4. Inviting grievances in the provisional merit list
5. Release of final merit list
6. Filling up and confirmation of online option
7. Display of Provisional Allotment of respective CAP Round
8. Reporting at the allotted institute for admission confirmation 

The first step of MAH HM CET counselling process is CAP registration. All eligible students need to register for CAP to participate in counselling process. Complete counselling process is completed online. Check here how to register for MAH HM CET CAP 2026.

1. Login

• Login with MAH HM CET 2026 application number and password.

2. Select Document verification mode

• Candidates can choose either E-verification or Physical verification according to their preference. Read all instructions carefully before selecting any mode. 

3. Enter the CET details

• Enter whether or not appeared in MAH HM CET. 

4. Enter details for the type of candidature

• On this page, select the type details according to the previously selected type of candidature.

5. Fill in category details

• On this page, enter category details.
• Select: Open Category or Reserved Category.
• Select Status of Caste / Tribe Validity Certificate.
• Select Yes/No if you belong to Defence and if candidate claiming for DEFENCE, specify the type.
• Select any one nationality document that you can submit at verification.

6. Fill in qualification details

• Enter Qualification Details
• BHMCT CET/MHMCT CET 2026 details.

7. Fill in the personal details

• Enter Personal Details such as Full Name, Mother Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Annual income, Religion, Mother Tongue etc.

8. Upload photo and required documents

• All the instructions to upload the photo with signature are given in the Note and Important Instructions.
• After selecting the photo, adjust the photo.
• After that press Upload Photo Button, then click on Save and Proceed button.

9. Pay the application fee if applicable

• On this page check your application ID, Fee amount and click on Pay Now Button.

10. Print the application form

• After all the stages are filled, the printable application form is activated.
• Take the printout of the application form.

All candidates have to pay a counselling registration fee in online mode. The fee details are as follows:

MAH HM CET document verification can be done through both online and offline mode. Students can submit their document verification mode at the time of CAP registratin. Students must produce origial copies of necessary documents. 

For offline document verification, candidates need to visit the facilitation center. The list of facilitation centers is uploaded by the authorities online.

Documents needed in CAP:

1. SSC (Std X) mark sheet
2. HSC (10+2)/Diploma/UG mark sheet
3. School Leaving Certificate, if required to substantiate the claim
4. Certificate of the Indian Nationality of the candidate
5. Category support documents
6. Documents in the support of candidature type

CET Cell releases final merit list for both MAH B.HMCT and MHMCT. A provisional merit list is released before the final merit list. Both merit lists will be available on official website. Candidates can submit grievances in the provisional merit list if any.  After analyzing the grievances, changes, if any, are made and final merit lists are displayed on the website.

Preparation of the CAP merit list: All eligible candidates who have submitted the CAP application form on or before the last date shall be assigned a merit number based on the scores of MAH HM CET and other factors.

Seats available for Round I will be published on official website. Candidates whose names appear in final merit list of CAP are eligible to participate in this round by filling out an online option form. Candidate must fill out and confirm option form through candidate’s Login. 

What happens in CAP round 1?

• If the allotted seat is from first preference:
  • If a candidate is allotted the seat as per his first preference, such allotment shall be auto frozen and candidate shall accept allotment so made. Such candidates shall not be eligible for participation in subsequent CAP rounds. Such candidates shall then report for verification of documents and payment of seat acceptance fee.
• Candidates who have been allotted a seat other than first preference and wish to accept allotment:

• • Candidates who have been allotted a seat other than first preference given by candidate and do not wish to participate in further CAP rounds, such candidates can freeze offered seat through candidate’s login.
  • Once candidate freezes allotted seat, such students shall then report for verification of documents and payment of seat acceptance fee.
  • Candidates who have been allotted seats other than first preference and accepted seat shall be eligible for participation in subsequent rounds for betterment.

• Candidates who have been allotted a seat other than first preference and wish to change the allotment:

• • Candidates who have been allotted seats other than first preference and are not willing to accept seat shall be eligible for participation in subsequent rounds.

Maharashtra CET Cell will provide details for MAH HM CET counselling round 2 on the official website. Eligible students can fill in or edit their online option form filled during round 1 counselling. 

• No further betterment option will be available to the candidate after round 2.
• Allotment made and/or allotment retained in round II for participating candidates in round 2 shall be final.
