A. DU is considered one of the most competitive universities in India for Commerce, Science and Arts education at the undergraduate level. The university and its affiliated colleges was attracting the cream layer of crowd till the time admission was subject to Class 12 scores. While reserved category candidates still had minor chances of getting into a not-so-popular course of DU with 60% in Class 12, a General category student with 60% had no chance of getting into any good college or course at DU.
However, starting 2022, DU admission process has shifted to CUET-UG based admission process. Those with a valid score in CUET UG exam who have passed their Class 12 are eligible to take admission now. While the chances of getting into a good DU college are still low at this score, the chances of getting a seat have increased now (provided you score extremely well in CUET UG).

A. The total tuition fee for BA and BA (Hons) courses offered by the University of Delhi ranges between INR 540 and INR 1.5 lakh depending on the college a student is seeking or taking admission to. In addition to the affiliated college, BA course fee is also dependent on the specialisation selected by the student for the same.
