A really good college that has a lot to offer.

Placements: The placement cell of the college ensures maximum placement. The college, as well as the students, work together enthusiastically to reach a common goal. A lot of alumni have been directly placed in many companies. Especially in courses like B.Com and BBE.

Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure, mainly. The newly constructed Jijabai Block is well-equipped. There are elevator facilities as well. The library is one of the largest amongst DU colleges and houses a lot of informative textbooks. Other infrastructure includes Computer Labs, Science labs, a large playground, a canteen, and a cafeteria.

Faculty: Highly qualified and skilled teachers, trained to make sure that they deliver their best to the students. Being industry-ready is a collective effort of both the curriculum and the students' own abilities. Semester exams are generally not that challenging if you prepare well enough and attend lectures daily.

Other: I chose this course because I'm passionate about learning about Geography. The college crowd is decent and mixed with students from many socio-cultural backgrounds, making the campus a vibrant place. The fest is definitely a highlight. As for connectivity, it is well-connected by metro and DTC buses.

Very happy to be a shivajian.

Placements: My course is B.A. programme and as such there are not so many job opportunities for my course but our college had a placement cell in which you can join which keeps on updating you about various internships. Many students have done this internship and they were benefited through it.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in our college and it probably has the biggest library in the Delhi University with three floors. The library has a large variety of books related to history, geography, EVS, English and Hindi which are easily available to students. There is a bru tea stall in our college which provides good quality food and beverages.

Faculty: The teachers of my course are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is up to the mark. No, this doesn't make students industry-ready pass percentage is good semester exams are of good level. The curriculum of my course is relevant.

Other: I wanted to pursue my career in the Indian armed forces as an officer. This course includes a variety of subjects like history and geography which will help in the preparation for defence exams like the CDS examination conducted by UPSC. There are various events conducted on regular basis by different societies in the college. I have attended online so don't know much about campus crowd and surroundings are good a large variety of plants and trees can be seen in the college.

Shivaji College - One of Best College in Off Campus .

Placements: Around 6 out of 10 gets placement but it is more for commerce stream, arts and Science stream have less placement opportunities but still they got average package like 3-5Lpa and many internships are offered to all streams and some of them are good paying for a alone live .

Infrastructure: Classroom is quite good in New Building but old building is average classroom with faculty desks also the size of classroom is good enough in new building but old building have match box, I think we must have a good canteen as canteen food is not up to the mark .

Faculty: Faculty is good and very supportive and helpful in terms of exam preparation and they try their best to provide other opportunities to students, course curriculum is good but writing is more emphasized instead of quality which is the worst part of DU as it doesn't help in knowledge .

Other: I think they should have developed more skill oriented societies of other fields too like Gaming, Editing, Singing. But overall fests and campus crowd is good not very conjusted and extracurricular activities is also nice as we have a dedicated open ground .

College is good for off-campus colleges. Sports facilities were provided with certain equipment.

Placements: I don't know that much about placement in our college, but companies come to the college for job opportunities. These are managed by the placement cell in the college. Certain internships are provided by the college, while some students find internships for themselves.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi network is slow, which sometimes causes problems. The library is quite good. The canteen samosas are actually the only thing I like to eat. The sports complex is quite big. We can play a couple of different games together in it. Medical facilities are also provided by the college, which are available to students inside the college.

Faculty: Some teachers were quite helpful, but I can't comment on others. In my course, I don't know. Semester exams were easy, I would say, if you studied, obviously. Teachers were knowledgeable in their subjects, which is highly required for them to teach us students.

Other: I got this course because my score was not that good on the entrance exam. About cultural fest or other extracurricular activities and events were occurring from time to time. It makes the campus lively.

Final Selection
