The NIMCET 2026 admit card will be released online. Candidates will be able to access the NIMCET 2026 admit card download link at nimcet.admissions.nic.in. The login credentials required to download the NIMCET hall ticket 2026 will be the User ID and password. The NIMCET hall ticket will not be released in any other mode. Some of the important details that will be present on the NIMCET admit card will include the candidate's allotted exam centre, date, timings, guidelines, and more. When reporting to the exam centre, the hall ticket and identity proof will have to be presented for verification. Without these documents, the candidates will not be allowed to attempt the NIMCET 2026 exam. The final date to download the NIMCET 2026 hall ticket will be around the second week of June 2026.

Steps to download NIMCET 2026 admit card

NIMCET 2026 admit card will be available at nimcet.admissions.nic.in. To download the admit card of NIMCET 2026, the candidates would need follow the given steps.

  • Go to nimcet.admissions.nic.in
  • Click on the admit card link.
  • Provide their User ID and password.
  • Click on 'Login'
  • The admit card was displayed on the screen.
  • Download and print out the NIMCET admit card for future use.

At the exam centre, the candidates must present their NIMCET hall ticket and a valid original identity proof. Any one of the following identity proofs will be accepted at the centre - Aadhaar Card/Voter ID/PAN Card/Passport/School ID/Any Govt. approved identity proof.

Q:   Should I take coloured print outs of the NIMCET admit card or a black and white print out will also be applicable?
A: 

There is no mandate related to the colour scheme of the NIMCET admit card. Candidates can take either black and white or coloured print outs of the admit card. It is mentioned in the NIMCET information brochure that candidates need to print the Admit Card on precision printers only, like Laser Printers (and not on inkjet printers). It is recommended for the candidates to preserve their admit card that was used during the examination until the entire process of admission is complete.

Q:   Can I carry the soft copy of the NIMCET admit card to the exam centre instead of the hard copy?
A: 

No, you are only supposed to carry the hard copy of the NIMCET admit card. You must keep in mind that the invigilators will not allow you if you are not carrying the hard coPy of your admit card. You are advised to download your NIMCET admit card and take a printout from the NIMCET official website.

Which details are available on the NIMCET 2026 admit card?

Candidates will be able to check the following details in their NIMCET 2026 hall tickets:

  • Name of the candidate

  • NIMCET 2026 roll number

  • Paper appearing for

  • Allotted exam centre address

  • Exam date and time

  • Exam day guidelines

  • Candidate's photograph and signature

Before downloading the NIMCET 2026 admit card, the candidates will be advised to check the details carefully for any mistakes. In case of any discrepancies, the candidates will be advised to immediately contact the authorities. All mistakes will have to be corrected before the entrance examination. However, the authorities will not accept requests to change the allotted NIMCET 2026 exam centres.

Here is the list of documents you must carry to the NIMCET test centre -

  • Printed copy of your NIMCET admit card

Q:   Will I be able to access the NIMCET admit card offline?
A: 

No, the candidates will not be able to access the NIMCET admit card offline. The authorities will release the NIMCET admit card online at nimcet.admissions.nic.in. To download the hall ticket, the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials. No other mode will be used by the authorities. Once the admit card is downloaded, a print out has to be taken for future use.

Q:   What is the last date to access the NIMCET admit card 2025?
A: 

As per the official notification, the candidates were able to access the NIMCET 2025 admit card until June 8, 2025. All candidates were advised to immediately download and print out the admit card as soon as it was published. A few copies of the admit card had to be taken out so that the candidates had enough copies if they lost one.

The NIMCET is conducted by an individual NIT on a rotational basis every year. So the NIT that is conducting the NIMCET in that year will release the NIMCET answer key. In 2025, the National Institute of Technology Tiruchirappalli conducted the NIMCET and hence, released the answer key.
