
NIMCET Question Papers 2026: NIT Trichy will conduct the NIMCET exam for the 2026 session on June 6, 2026. The provisional NIMCET 2026 answer key will be tentatively released in the 2nd or 3rd week of June 2026. Candidates can check the answer key at nimcet.admissions.nic.in.
No, calculator or any other electronic equipment such as mobile phones, pagers, etc. will not be allowed to carry to the NIMCET exam centre. Candidates need to report at the examination hall in the allotted test center with admit card before one hour as NIMCET is an online examination, the candidates are required to follow the instructions given at the test center for entry and allotment of terminal.
The mathematics section of NIMCET is the most important section and will include 50 Questions. Topics to cover in the mathematics section of NIMCET exam include-

No, one month is not sufficient for NIMCET preparation. You would need to study an extensive syllabus that would need time as well as a lot of effort. However, if you are a BCA student that your college education might help you in your preparation, since the topics of NIMCET and BCA are similar, you would need to brush up on your knowledge. It is recommended to solve previous year NIMCET question papers to make yourself acquainted with the NIMCET exam.

Ideally, you should start preparing at least six months before the exam date.
