While NIMCET primarily considers candidates with a Bachelor's degree in B.Sc. (Computer Science/Information Technology /Mathematics/Statistics) for eligibility, candidates with a Bachelor of Business Administration BBA degree may also be eligible to apply, provided they meet certain additional criteria. According to the NIMCET eligibility criteria as of my knowledge cutoff in September 2021, candidates must fulfill the following requirements:
1. Bachelor's Degree: Candidates must have a recognised Bachelor's degree of minimum three years duration with at least one of the following subjects: Mathematics/Statistics/Computer Science/Business Mathematics/Business Statistics/Discrete Mathematics.
2. Mathematics at 10+2 Level: Candidates should have studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at the 10+2 level or as a part of their graduation programme. Please note that eligibility criteria may change over time, and it is important to refer to the official NIMCET website or information brochure for the most up-to-date and accurate information regarding eligibility and admission requirements. If you meet the eligibility criteria mentioned above, you should be able to apply for the NIMCET exam for admission to the MCA programme. I recommend visiting the official NIMCET website or contacting the respective NITs' admission offices for detailed information on eligibility, application process, and important dates for the exam. They will provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information based on the latest announcements and guidelines.
