AILET Test Centres 2026 - Candidates can check their AILET 2026 exam centre in their admit card for AILET 2026. AILET Admit card is available to download at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. The address of the designated test center is mentioned on the AILET 2026 admit card.  

The university also updated the list of AILET test cities previous year, and the exam was not conducted in four cities: Bilaspur (Chhattisgarh), Kota, Shimla, and Siliguri. The updated list of test centers is available on this page.

Candidates were able to select their AILET 2026 exam centre while filling out the AILET 2026 application form. They could select a maximum of three centres in order of their preferences. The first test centre they select was considered as their first preference. The second and third centres had to be their second and third choices, respectively.

NLU Delhi released an updated list of test centres for AILET along with the admission notification. Candidates can refer to the list of test cities available for the upcoming exam

In case the number of the candidates at any test city is less than 100, the test centre will not be created in that city and candidate will be allotted test city as per their 2nd/3rd preferences.

AILET 2026 Exam Day Guidelines

Candidates should read the AILET exam day instructions given on their admit card. Check the guidelines below.

  • Candidates should report to their allotted test centre at least an hour before the exam timings.
  • Must carry at least one valid photo ID proof along with their admit card such as PAN Card, Aadhaar Card, or other relevant document. 
  • They should also carry their own pens (at least two) and one HB pencil for filling OMR answer sheet. The pens should be ballpoint and colour should be black or blue. 
  • Also, should avoid taking any study material or items like calculator, mobile phone, digital watch, iPad, and jewellery to the exam centre

Important Things to Carry 

AILET admit card is a mandatory document. Along with the admit card, students must carry any of the following photo ID proofs:

  • Voter ID
  • Aadhaar Card
  • AILET Admit Card
  • Blue/ Black Ball Point Pen
  • Transparent Water Bottle 

Things Not to Carry

Check the list of items prohibited inside the test centre:

  • Books and Notes with comments
  • All electronic items, including mobile phones
  • Jewellery or any other valuable

Q:   Can I change the exam centre once the application process gets over for AILET exam?
A: 

No. One cant change the AILET Exam centre once the application form is submitted online. Candidates have to choose options of exam centre while applying for the exam. The exam centre option is filled during the final registration for AILET. Candidates can declare maximum 3 options for exam centre. AILET will let candidates know about name and address of exam centre through the admit card. The admit card for AILET has to be carried to the exam centre else candidates will not be allowed to enter the examination hall.

Q:   Is it necessary to keep AILET admit card even after the AILET Exam?
A: 

Candidates must keep the copy of AILET Admit Card safely until the whole AILET admission process is over. The admit card will be required for the counselling process as part of important documents. They should not tamper it or write anything on it as it will be verified during the counselling process.

Q:   What are the details mentioned in AILET admit card?
A: 

The AILET admit card will mention the examination hall number, the name of the candidate, course name applied for, and general guidelines. Candidates must ensure to have the error free details in the hall ticket. Do not forget to carry an identity proof for verification purpose.

Q:   Should the AILET 2026 admit card printout be coloured or black and white?
A: 

Candidates are advised to take a coloured printout of the admit card. However, it is not compulsory. NLU Delhi has not stated any guideline regarding this. They must also ensure that they have two to three spare copies of the admit card for future use. However, in case a candidate does not have access to a coloured printer, she/he can take a black and white printout of the AILET 2026 admit card as well, but the details such as photograph and text should be clearly visible.

Yes, candidates should carry two stamp size photograph on the exam day along with the admit card. This photograph should  be affixed on the attendance sheet.

A: 

AILET exam centre 2025 will be allotted along with the admit card. Candidates are advised to check the admit card to know about the exam centre and other crucial details. Apart from name and address of allotted AILET exam centre, the admit card comprises details such as exam date, timing, exam day guidelines etc. Date for admit card release is published along with the information brochure on the official website. Candidates have to download the admit card for AILET 2025 after logging and providing details such as application ID, password and others. 

Q:   Can I appear for AILET if I forget to carry my photo ID?
A: 

No, candidates were not allowed to appear for the examination without a valid photo ID. Candidates were advised to keep the following three things ready with them, a day before the examination; a valid photo ID proof, AILET admit card 2026, and a recent passport-sized photograph. These were the mandatory documents to be produced during entry to the AILET exam centre. The valid photo identity card which would be allowed at the AILET 2026 exam centre include Aadhaar card/ Driving Licence/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Voter Id. The admit card should also have the passport and postcard-sized photographs pasted on it.
