The question paper of the exam will be based on the exam pattern ascertained by the National Law University Delhi. Check out the details about the exam pattern below:

National Law University (NLU) Delhi will release provisional answer key in December.

Yes, candidate can challenge AILET Answer Key.

Q:   Is the AILET Counselling Registration Fee refundable?
A: 

The AILET counselling fee of INR 30,000 (INR for reserved category candidates) will be refunded only to candidates who have successfully registered for the counselling and paid the fee but who could not find a place in the merit list. The refund will be initiated by NLU Delhi to the source on completion of the admission process, whichever is earlier. 

Q:   When will AILET counselling registration be held?
A: 

The AILET 2026 counselling registrations were started on December 19, 2025, and closed on December 27, 2025. During the counselling process, the candidates register online and perform document verification.

How to Calculate AILET PG Marks

As the AILET PG 2026 exam has negative marking, for every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted, which means 1 mark will be deducted if you mark four incorrect answers. For each correct answer, 1 mark will be awarded. So, to calculate the AILET PG Marks, follow this formula.

Q:   What after AILET Result 2027?
A: 

The AILET admission process after the results are declared is as mentioned below: 

  • AILET counselling: The number of candidates invited for counseling will be FIVE times the number of seats available in each category. The consortium will upload the list of eligible candidates on its website before the start of counseling registration.
  • AILET cutoff: The NLU Delhi will release the AILET cutoff on its official website at the time of seat allotment. The cutoff is the minimum marks/rank that aspirants need to secure in order to get admission to a 5-year LLB or one-year LLB program.
Q:   When will the result of AILET be declared?
A: 

AILET 2027 result is expected to be available in December. Candidates can check the result at official website.

Q:   Is AILET cutoff for all categories the same?
A: 

No, AILET Entrance Exam cutoff is released separately for the various categories. For instance, the cut-off is available for categories like Open, OBC-NCL, SC, ST, and PH categories. Note that open category candidates will not be considered for admission under reserved category seats. However, candidates belonging to reserved category will be considered for admission under both open and the reserved category they belong to. To be considered for admission under reserved category, the candidate must furnish the required category certificates. However, any candidate who is found using counterfeit documents can be disqualified at any stage of the admission process.
