All India Law Entrance Test 2026 ( AILET )

AILET Result 2026: The National Law University (NLU) Delhi will release the result of AILET 2026 after the successful completion of the exam. The result for the exam will be displayed on its official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. AILET 2026 Results for BA LLB and LLM courses will be announced online, and it will be based on the AILET final answer key. Candidates will be able to download their official AILET 2026 scorecards by logging in to the AILET exam portal. NLU Delhi will send AILET 2026 counselling invitations to all candidates who qualify for the AILET 2026. NLU Delhi will also publish the list of AILET 2026 qualified candidates as the AILET invite list. Candidates included in the list will have to participate in the AILET 2026 counseling process to secure their seats in NLU Delhi.

How to check AILET 2026 results?
The result for the AILET exam will be released online on the NLU Delhi website. To download the scorecard follow the given ways.
- Visit the AILET 2026 official website, nationallawuniversitydelhi.in
- Login using the Registration Number and Password
- Under the Result tab, click on the View Score Card tab.
- Your result/ scorecard will be displayed on the screen
Download and take a printout of the AILET Result PDF to refer it at the time of counselling, registration, and seat allotment process.

AILET 2026 Result: Tie-Break Method
To check the AILET merit rank if two or more candidates score the same marks in the AILET 2026 exam is explained below.
For the BA LLB program
- If two or more candidates get the same marks, their merit will be determined based on the higher marks in the Logical Reasoning section.
- If the tie persists, then the candidate senior in age will be given preference.
- If the tie is still undecided at this stage, then the merit rank will be decided by the computerized draw of lots.
For the LLM program
- Senior Age;

AILET 2026 second merit list for BA LLB (Hons.), BCom LLB (Hons.) and LLM will be released at nationallawuniversitydelhi.in. If a candidate does not get selected in the second round of the AILET counselling, he or she needs to wait for the release of the round 3 merit list.
AILET 2026 Results & Shortlisting for Counselling
The results of the AILET 2026 exam will be used to shortlist candidates for AILET 2026 counselling. The names of shortlisted candidates will be published in the form of Counseling Invite Lists. The invite list will be published soon after the result announcement on the NLU Delhi website. Candidates eligible for counseling will have to get registered for counseling and upload the mandatory documents. Thereafter, the seat allotment list will be published for successful candidates.

The AILET admission process after the results are declared is as mentioned below:
- AILET counselling: The number of candidates invited for counseling will be FIVE times the number of seats available in each category. The consortium will upload the list of eligible candidates on its website before the start of counseling registration.
- AILET cutoff: The NLU Delhi will release the AILET cutoff on its official website at the time of seat allotment. The cutoff is the minimum marks/rank that aspirants need to secure in order to get admission to a 5-year LLB or one-year LLB program.
