On the exam day, NLU Delhi will conduct AILET 2023 in a disciplined manner. The exam day events will take place as under:

AILET 2023 - Important Events

The events of AILET begins with announcement of exam date, and till the counselling process is over, candidates have to keep track of all events. Check details on the major events for AILET 2023 below:

  • Applications: AILET application form is released in online mode on the official website of the exam. Candidates can fill the application form and submit it online only.
  • Admit card: AILET admit card will be available on the official website at least 15 days before the exam date. Candidates can download the hall ticket by using their application number and password. The AILET admit card is a mandatory document to be carried to the test centre. The admit card will be released post-closure of the application form.
  • AILET exam: The law entrance exam will be held for BA LLB (Hons), LLM and PhD admissions in more than 20 cities allover India. Candidates had to appear for the law exam as per the test centre details mentioned on their admit card. The AILET question paper for BA LLB (Hons) contains 150 objective-type questions of 150 marks. On the other hand, the AILET LLM question paper contains 100 objective questions and two subjective questions of 150 marks. Check complete AILET exam pattern
  • Answer key: The provisional AILET answer key is released soon after the exam is over. The final answer key for the exam is released after the provisional answer key. Candidates can check the answer key on the official website of the exam. 
  • Result: The AILET result and merit list are released after the release of the final answer key. Candidates can download the AILET score card from the official website of the exam. 
  • Counselling: NLU Delhi conducts the AILET counselling to offer admission to shortlisted candidates based on merit.

No tougher. Both exams have similar syllabus so the preparation of any exam will help in other exam. Because the number of seats in National law university Delhi in B.A. LL.B. Are about 110 only. Whereas in NLUs through CLAT UG are about 621. So, the difficulty level of AILET is little bit higher.

The CLAT UG Syllabus 2023 is divided into five sections: English Comprehension, Current Affairs & General Knowledge, Quantitative Techniques (Mathematics), Legal Reasoning and Logical Reasoning. So, from above there is no difference in syllabus of both exams. However difficult level can be varying. As per the experience shared by students, The difficulty level of AILET is higher.

The difficulty of CLAT is however moderate compared to AILET. It is also tough to keep up with the exam time and negative marking in CLAT the duration of exam is of 2 hours, the duration of AILET is 1 hour 30 minutes.
