BHU UET 2019 Exam Pattern & Section-Wise Difficulty Level

According to Nitya Sharma from Delhi Public School Panipat Refinery, “Compared to other law entrance exams, BLAT (BHU UET for Law) was easy. In previous years, English section of BLAT was difficult. But this year, English and Logical Reasoning sections of the exam were really easy. However, I found Legal Knowledge section a bit difficult.”

Talking about the pattern of BHU UET 2019 exam Nitya said, “I found the pattern of the exam little bit changed. In General Knowledge, usually there is a proper division of sections (current and static GK) but this time about 60 to 70 questions were related to static GK only. Overall, the paper was easy but the deciding factor in the paper will be the GK section.”

Harni Sharma from Meerut Public School for Girls felt that the paper was extremely easy and so the BHU UET cutoff for BA LLB (Hons) will go high. Talking about the section-wise difficulty level of the exam, Harni said, “Legal maxims were quite easy and some of the questions in this section were taken from previous year’s BHU UET paper. There were about 10 Legal Reasoning questions in the exam, which were easy, barring one or two questions were a little tricky. Logical Reasoning and English sections were very easy. Overall, all the sections in the exam were easy but students who had prepared GK well can do well in the exam.” “The section of GK comprised questions from subjects such as Ancient History, Medieval History, and Modern History. Each question in the exam carried 3 marks and the paper had a negative marking of 1/3,” added Harni.

Akanksha from Mount Abu Public School shared, “Today’s paper was quite good. I found the Legal Aptitude section very easy. All the GK and current affair questions were also known to me and I enjoyed giving the paper.” Another student, Vrinda Parashar shared, “The exam was pretty good. The BHU UET cutoff 2019 will definitely be high this year. Legal Aptitude and English sections of the exam were the easiest. Overall, the paper was good and not at all tough.”

Also, as per Shava Dagar, “I didn’t find any section of the exam difficult. I found GK also easy. I think most of the questions of GK were from the previous CLAT question papers. The Logical Reasoning was quite easy and overall the paper was moderate.” Sukanya Tripathi from Delhi Public School, Ghaziabad also said, “Today’s paper was quite easy. The GK part was a bit tough but Logical Reasoning and Mathematics were easy. Overall, it was a very simple paper.”

Mohammad Hasan came all the way from Bihar to appear for BHU UET Law paper. He said,” I found the GK section little lengthy and some questions were unexpected. Legal Aptitude section was too easy but some questions were out of the box. English was the easiest section in the exam. I think the cutoff for BHU UET 2019 exam will go really high – about 300+ for General and 200+ reserved category students.” Mohammad further added, “Going through BHU UET previous year papers was enough for the preparation of the exam. Last Sunday when I had given the paper for NLU Delhi (AILET), it was unimaginable that the difficulty level of this paper would be so low. All in all, I think that I can crack the paper.”
