Make a preparation plan 

Candidates first need to start with a preparation plan for 30 days, making sure at least 6-7 hours a day are dedicated for productive result. Candidates need to list out the topics to be covered each day from all the subjects asked in AU LAT 2023. They need to include breaks between the study plan. Moreover, this time could be stressful, therefore, candidates should focus on a strategy that does not exhaust them. For this, they can:

  • List out the topics to be covered each day
  • Take help of books and study notes to cover the syllabus 
  • Scheduled 2 hours of mock test practising on every alternate day 
  • Take refreshment breaks and sufficient sleep to keep mind decluttered

Candidates need to analyse their preparation level before starting one-month preparation for AU LAT 2023. They should chalk out topics that are prepared sufficiently so as to focus on strengths only. Candidates seeking admission to MBA at Allahabad University must apply online via the official website of the university via AU PGAT. A step-by-step process to fill AU PGAT form for MBA admission is as follows:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Allahabad University.

Step 2: Click on ‘Admission 2022’ running in the ticker line on the home page of the official website or click on ‘Student’ in the menu.

Step 3: Now click on ‘Admission’ followed by clicking on ‘PGAT Application 2022'.

Step 4: Register as a new candidate with details, such as name, mobile number, and email id. 

Step 5: Fill in the application form by entering all personal and academic details and pay the application fee online.

Q:   How do I get admission to Allahabad University?

The admission process of Allahabad University is inclusive of multiple steps such as registering on the official website or the website of the admission conducting body or exam. Followed by applications, candidates are required to go through the selection rounds, such as entrance exams. After the selection rounds are over and the results for the same are out, course-wise counselling is conducted again by the admission conducting body or the university and a final merit list is released by the University with the names of the shortlisted applicants.

Take mock tests

Hi, The course or the syllabus for LAT is quite similar to that of CLAT except Legal portion. So for the purpose of language comprehension many standard books are available of many good publications such as universal. Also for reasoning etc., you may choose RS Agarwal book for the same. For current affairs any year book may do. And for static portion, you may opt for Lucent general knowledge. Apart from them, not one book is going to help. Previous year papers are available and they must be solved once. Also, the newspaper and activities taking place in the state must be known for the GK portion.
Q:   How much do I need to score in LAT to get into Allahabad University? Also, how can I prepare for that? Please tell.
A:

You have to strictly go through the AU LAT syllabus. The LAT syllabus consists the following subjects as under. 1. Language Comprehension, No of MCQ question= 50. This subject covers the following topics as Reading Comprehension, Synonyms, Antonyms, Homonyms, Vocabulary, One-word substitution, Spellings, Idioms, Phrases, Syntax, Grammar, Knowledge of proverbs, Figures of speech and Legal terms. 2. General Awareness and Current Affair and Reasoning, No of MCQ questions=50. This subject covers the following topics as Indian & World History, Geography, Environment, Indian Culture, Indian National Movement, Constitution, Legal System, Constitutional principles & Practices, Science & Technology Contemporary National, Regional, International Political & Economic Perspective Issues, International Organizations and treaties. 3. Mental Ability and Legal Aptitude, No of MCQ questions=50. This subject covers the following topics as Mental Ability and Logical/Mathematical Analysis, Deductive Reasoning, Odd-Even Discretion, Logical Fallacy, Analogy, Syllogism, Agreement and Disagreement. So Total number of questions=150, Total marks=300, +2 marks for every correct answer and -0.5 marks for every wrong answer. Total exam duration =120 Minutes, Medium-English and Exam mode-Offline Further the LAT cut off is varying according to categories. 

Q:   How to get admission at Allahabad University for BCA course?
A:

Allahabad University offers a three-year BCA programme in the field of Software and IT. Admission to BCA is subject to a valid score in the university-level entrance exam namely CUET-UG followed by counselling. Candidates who fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria set by the university, which is, the candidate should have passed Class 12 with Mathematics (Science group) from a recognised board or equivalent. Aspirants who fulfil the requirements are able to apply online on the official website.
