KLEE Syllabus 2025: CEE does not prescribe the detailed syllabus of KLEE. However, CEE informs about the sections from which questions will be asked in the KLEE 2025 entrance exam for admission to the 3-year LLB, 5-years LLB, and LLM programmes.

Based on the sections and the previous year's question papers, a list of topics that are asked in the exam can be deduced. Such a list is provided here on this page. Candidates are advised to go through the list of topics and prepare for KLEE 2025 accordingly.

KLEE Syllabus 2025 for LLB (3 years and 5 years)

Candidates must note that although the KLEE syllabus for 5 years LLB and 3 years LLB is the same, their difficulty level is going to be different. This is because the 5 years LLB entrance exam is an undergraduate-level exam. On the other hand, the 3 years LLB is a graduate-level exam. Therefore, candidates have to prepare while keeping the difficulty level in mind.

KLEE 2025 syllabus for LLB 5 years and 3 years is as follows:

Reading Comprehension, Word Usage, Vocabulary, Grammar, Inference-based questions, Synonyms, Antonyms, Foreign Words/Phrase, Para Jumbles, etc

General Knowledge

International events, UN bodies, Major developments in the areas of sports, geopolitics and important environmental agreements; Current affairs; Eminent personalities; Sports; Awards and honours; etc

Arithmetic and Mental Ability

Average, Profit & Loss, Percentage, Time & Distance, Time & Work, Simplification, Ratio and Proportion, Simple / Compound Interest, Problems based on age

Aptitude for Legal Studies

Law of Torts, Vicarious Liability, Strict Liability, Law of Crimes, Contracts and, Constitutional Law, International Law, Intellectual Property Rights, Legal Awareness covering Constitutional Law and Polity

Q:   What are the weightage of sections in KLEE 2025 Exam?
A: 

In LLB, 5 years and 3 years, the weightage of sections are (a) General English (60 questions), (b) General Knowledge (45 questions), (c) Arithmetic and Mental Ability (25 questions) and (d) Aptitude for Legal Studies (70 questions).

In KLEE LLM entrance exam, the weightage is Jurisprudence (25 questions), Constitutional Law (25 questions), Law of Crimes (25 questions), and Law of Contract (25 questions) in Part A. In part B, Public International Law (20 questions), Administrative Law (20 questions), Law of Property (20 questions), Company Law (20 questions), Interpretation of statutes (10 questions), and Law of Torts (10 questions).

Candidates who are pursuing the last year of their qualifying exam, i.e. graduation degree can apply for the KLEE LLM entrance exam. The prerequisite for the applcation is that the candidates must have their qualifying exam marksheet or provisional result during the counselling process.
