KLEE Exam Pattern: Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala releases exam pattern of KLEE for 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB and LLM courses. KLEE exam pattern has all important details related to questions that will be asked. It must be noted that the KLEE exam pattern is different for 3 years LLB, 5 years LLB and LLM courses.

The Entrance Examination for admission to the LLM curse is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The Questions of the Entrance Examination is of objective type. The questions shall be of the standard of LLB Examination. The LLM paper has 2 parts - part A and part B. There are a total of 200 questions in the exam. Part A has 100 questions and part 2 has 100 questions. Part A has 4 sections and Part B has 6 sections.

KLEE exam pattern 2026 for 5 Years LLB has one paper. There will be objective type of questions. It must be noted that KLEE question have four options. They must choose one correct response. Kerala Law Entrance Examination carries 200 marks in total. For every right answer, 3 marks are given, and for each wrong one, 1 mark is deducted. 

Candidates need to complete their paper in 2 hours. In KLEE 2026 5 Year LLB exam there will be question based on General English, General Knowledge, and Aptitude for Legal Studies.

The KLEE or Kerala Law Entrance Exam is conducted for admission to the 5-year integrated B.A. LLB, B.Com LLB, and BBA LLB courses. Also, candidates can take admission to 3-year LLB and LLM courses through KLEE 2027.

Q:   Which types of questions are asked in the KLEE question paper?

KLEE question paper consists of multiple choice questions (MCQs) for 5-year LLB, 3-year LLB and LLM programmes. Students have to select the correct answers among the multiple choices. KLEE Exam Pattern 2026 for LLM has one paper with many choice type questions. The test happens offline. Each question got four options, and you need to pick the right one. The paper total is 200 marks. You get 3 marks for every correct answer, and 1 mark goes off for wrong one. The time given for exam is 2 hours only. KLEE 2026 LLM exam questions come from topics like Jurisprudence, Constitutional Law, Law of Crimes, Law of Contracts, Public International Law, Administrative Law and few other law subjects.

KLEE qualifying marks mean the least score you must get to pass exam. For general category, it’s around 10% of total marks. SC, ST and SEBC candidates don’t have any fixed minimum marks. Only those who score the same or more than KLEE 2026 qualifying marks will be in the rank list and can join counselling round.
