KLEE LLB (3 Years) 2026: Exam Dates, Application Form, Eligibility, Syllabus, Results

The KLEE exam conducted once in a year for the admission to the 3 years LLB, 5 years LLB and LLM courses.

KLEE Entrance Exam is conducted for admission to 3-year LLB, 5-year LLB, and LLM in Kerala's government law colleges and government merit seats in private self-financing law colleges.

The Kerala Law Entrance Exam (KLEE) is conducted by Commissioner of Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala for admission to the three-year and five-year LLB.

The KLEE 2026 counselling has started after the KLEE results, and the selected candidates now need to appear for the counselling process. KLEE counselling is held online through the official website.

The KLEE cutoff is the minimum rank or score needed to secures admission in the Kerala Government law colleges through the Kerala Law Entrance Exam (KLEE).

There is no provision of the application correction window for KLEE application form. Thus, once candidates submit the KLEE application form, they will not be able to edit it. The KLEE application fee is INR 900 (previous year). After the release of the official notification, this fee might change.

The Entrance Examination for admission to the LLM curse is a Computer Based Test (CBT). The Questions of the Entrance Examination is of objective type. The questions shall be of the standard of LLB Examination. The LLM paper has 2 parts - part A and part B. There are a total of 200 questions in the exam. Part A has 100 questions and part 2 has 100 questions. Part A has 4 sections and Part B has 6 sections.

The LLM entrance exam syllabus of KLEE is of graduation level. The questions in the KLEE LLM entrance exam are of the LLB examination standard.

KLEE admit card is an important document to be carried to the examination hall along with the other permitted items. Following documents will be permitted to the KLEE examination hall:

There is no lower age limit for admission to the 3-year or 5-year LLB programme. The upper age limit for admission both the LLB Programme will be subject to the decision of the Hon'ble Supreme Court of India. In case if age restriction under clause 28 of Legal Education Rules, 2008 of Bar Council of India is reinstated, only those candidates within the stipulated age limit will be allowed to appear for the Entrance Examination. 

For the reserved categories, the KLEE application fee has been relaxed. SC/ST category candidates will have to pay INR 450/- to apply for the exam.
