Candidates need to appear for Jamia Millia Islamia entrance test 2018 in order to secure admissions in the university’s undergraduate and postgraduate journalism and mass communication programmes.

Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI) journalism and mass communication entrance exam 2018 important dates are yet to be out.

Admission to Jamia’s mass communication courses are based on merit in the written entrance exam followed by an interview round (wherever applicable). Note that candidates who score less than 40% marks in the written entrance exam are not eligible for the interview round.

Hostel fee at JMI is around INR 30,950 for 6 months. This includes INR 15,350  for accomodation and other charges and INR 15,600 for mess charges. Hostel fee may differ for boys and girls.

At Jamia Millia Islamia, self-financed MBA course is not subsidised by the government. Admitted students need to bear the full-cost of such a programme. Regular MBA is subsidised by the government.

No, you cannot get direct admission in BDes at JMI. Candidates need to qualify eligibility and appear for JMI BDes entrance test. Admission process in BDes at JMI is ongoing. The entrance exam for BDes admission has already been conducted by JMI. The first Merit List of selected candidates is expected to release between late June to early July.

JMI BDes fee has many components such as tuition fee, hostel fee, one-time payments. Total course fee for 4 years is INR 4.19 lakh. Students who avail hostel fee need to pay around INR 30,950 per semester.
