IIM Indore admission criteria 2018-2020: CAT 2017 allotted only 20% weightage

The Indian Institute of Management Indore has released its admission criteria for 2018-2020 batch. The candidates who shall be appearing for CAT 2017 on November 26, 2017 must understand the process before applying at the institute.

IIM Indore PGP admissions for 2018-2020 will be a three way process, including: Eligibility Criteria, Shortlist for PI/WAT and Final Selection. Read more about IIM Indore admission criteria below.

In the first phase, the candidates will be screened on the basis of their score in CAT exam. IIM Indore has fixed CAT cutoff for 2018-2020 at 90 percentile for General Category applicants.

Those applying for the 2-year PGP course must also fulfill the sectional CAT cut-off criteria along with overall cut-off.

Based on the applications invited, the candidates will be further screened for the WAT/PI round. The candidate will be selected on the basis of his/her composite course that will include high school score, gender diversity, etc. The candidate must take note of the fact that HSc score will hold the double of CAT 2017 weightage points.

Shortlisted candidates will be informed through mail. They are expected to be present for WAT/PI round in person, which is expected to be held in the month of January 2018.

IIM Indore admission criteria: Final Selection

15% and 7.5% of the total seats are reserved for scheduled caste (SC) and scheduled tribe (ST) candidates as per the government’s norm. 27% seats are reserved for non-creamy layer - other backward classes (NC-OBC) candidates and 5% seats are reserved for persons with disabilities.
