JNU MBA Admission 2020: Eligibility, Process, Fees & Dates
The Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship in JNU offers a Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme of two years duration. ABVSME, JNU admits 50 students each year for its MBA programme. The course was launched in 2019.

JNU MBA Eligibility Criteria 2020
The candidates with the following qualifications are eligible to apply for JNU MBA admission 2020:
- A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent awarded by a recognised university. The degree must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (Class 12)
- For General Category candidates, a minimum of 60 per cent marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree is required
- OBC candidates are required to possess a minimum of 55 per cent marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree in order to be eligible for MBA programme
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PWD category must secure a minimum of 45 per cent marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree
- Candidates appearing for the final year of bachelor’s degree and are awaiting results can also apply. If selected, such candidates will be allowed to join the programme provisionally.
JNU MBA Admission Process 2020
JNU MBA admission is based on the Common Admission Test (CAT) conducted by IIMs. Any candidate applying to get admission into the JNU MBA programme must submit their CAT Test Registration Number. JNU uses CAT scores for short-listing/selecting the candidates for the MBA programme. The shortlisted candidates are then invited for an interview. The final list of selected candidates will be based on CAT scores and the marks obtained in the interview. The weightage on CAT scores shall be 70 per cent and the weightage of marks obtained in the interviews shall be per cent.
Note: IIMs have no role either in the selection process or in the conduct of the programme
JNU MBA Application Process 2020
Steps to fill the JNU MBA application form 2020:
- Candidates are required to visit the official website of JNU
- Under the ‘Schools & Centres’ tab, click on Atal Bihari Vajpayee School of Management and Entrepreneurship
- Click on admissions and then on ‘apply online’
- Create a Login ID and Password
- The application form will appear. Fill in the necessary details and CAT score
- Upload the required documents such as candidate's photo, mark sheets, etc
- Pay the application fee and keep the print out of the form for future references

The applicants have to pay the following application fees (non-refundable):
- Rs. 2000 (two thousand) only for General Category and OBC applicants
- Rs. 1000 (one thousand) only for SC/ST/PwD applicants
