  • Before starting off with the GD find time to know the names of the group members that you will be interacting with. This will help you address them by name making the conversation more interpersonal. This put an impression over the interviewer you know the name of all the members this something which you can do differently from others.
  • You can use formal hand gesture while speaking; look towards all group members so you can be more confident.
  • In PI, resume matters a lot, make sure you won’t have any spelling mistake and don’t put any fake information on that because they will ask questions out of it. You should know all the technology you had used in your project. You can also go for some certification courses because they matter a lot. If you face any problem with writing resume then take help from the experts and take suggestions from them about your resume so you can who what is still needed to be done.
  • Most of the aspirants appearing for GD get selected but for PI the success rate becomes lower because PI is the final round of any selection process and interviewed check each and student carefully. GD is at an initial stage so it is easy to crack as compares to PI. However, both need practice because if you are not able to qualify for GD then how will you sit for PI.
  • In GD, a group of students are being examined while during PI it’s only an individual. In GD you get an environment where you are seated with your batch mates, so that is your comfort zone. The interviewer will not ask you any question, you just have to talk by yourself. Whereas during PI you will sit all alone and the interviewer will bombard question on you have to tackle it smartly.
  • In PI, job profile related knowledge and communication both matter whereas in GD a candidate only supposed to have good communication skills, his other knowledge will test later on. Do check out all related information for which company you’re applying for, check out all previous questions which have already been asked so that you can have some prediction about the level of interview. For example, if you’re planning to sit for Microsoft then first do check the previous question so that you can prepare yourself according to what is required knowledge to crack this interview.
