Commonly asked questions
Q:   How can I calculate SRCC GBO scores?
A:

SRCC GBO score is determined on the basis of correct answers marked by aspirants in the SRCC GBO exam. For each correct answer, candidates are awarded four marks. For an incorrect answer, one mark is deducted from the candidates' total score. This means that for four incorrect answers, four marks will be deducted from the total score. The raw score of candidates is scaled with reference to the total number of candidates appearing in the exam. The SRCC GBO percentile is the percentage of candidates among those who have appeared for the exam and scored below the candidate in that category. That is, if a candidate has scored 60 per cent, this means that 60 per cent of candidates who have appeared in SRCC GBO exam scored below him/her. Based on the percentile score of candidates they will be offered admission to SRCC GBO compared to others who have appeared in the test.

Q:   Can the SRCC GBO cutoff change from year to year?
A:

Yes each year the SRCC GBO cutoff can be different. It happens because of various factors such as the number of available seats, the number of students who appeared for the exam, the seat reservation policy, the difficulty level of the exam, etc.
