  • Students should carefully read the instructions mentioned on SRCC GBO question paper 2026 before starting the exam. 
  • The exam will be conducted in the computer based test format, so the candidates must get used to onscreen reading. One question will be visible at a time. 
  • GBO exam 2026 will have a sectional time limit of 30 minutes per section. So, students should not spend over a minute on one question. If they do not know the answer to a question, they can move to next and revisit it later. 
  • The exam window will close once the time is over. Keep a close look at the timer. The section will automatically switch to the next once the time is over. 
  • Candidates must also keep the negative marking in mind for SRCC GBO. Skipping a question is better than marking the wrong answer. One mark will be deducted for every wrong answer marked by candidate. 
  • Students should reach one hour before the exam starts. The exam will begin at 3 PM and so they should reach the allotted exam centre by 2 PM.

Q:   What all items can I carry to the SRCC GBO exam centre?

Candiates should carry their SRCC GBO admit card, photo ID proof and only a pen. Every candidate appearing for the SRCC GBO exam must carry a simple blue/black ball point pen and a two copies of their passport size photo to the SRCC GBO exam centre. They must not carry any stationary item other than the pen. Ever since the COVID-19 outbreak, SRCC GBO aspirants are required to carry drinking water, hand sanitizer, face mask and gloves along with them. They have to carry drinking water in a transparent bottle. No other item will be allowed inside the exam venue. They also must not carry bags or valuables as there will be no arrangement for depositing while candidates appear for the exam. Candidates must also not carry notebooks or rough paper to the SRCC GBO exam centre. Any candidate found with an unauthorised item will be disqualified.

Q:   What are the dos of the SRCC GBO exam day?

  1. Reach the examination centre at the reporting time mentioned on your SRCC GBO admit card
  2. Carry a copy of the SRCC GBO admit card, one photo ID card and passport size photos
  3. PwD candidates should carry the relevant certificates and documents as prescribed by the examination authorities. 
  4. Carry a blue/black ball point pen for signing the attendance sheet
  5. Carry personal drinking water, hand sanitizer, face masks and gloves
  6. Cooperate with the GBO test centre staff and follow instructions during entry
  7. Candidates must write their name and roll numbers on the rough sheet provided by the invigilator and sign on it

SRCC GBO is held in about 20 cities across the country. The students should choose the test cities in order of their preference. The request to change the test city later will not be accepted due to the non availability of seats at the centres in that particular city. Q:   What is the SRCC GBO exam duration and slot?
A: 

SRCC GBO exam is conducted for two hours or 120 minutes. The exam is conducted in the computer-based test mode. SRCC GBO exam does not have any sectional time limit as well. However, the candidates need to solve the question paper in 120 minutes and this means that students will have approximately one minute to solve each question. Candidates must take care of saving their answers at every step as the moment 120 minutes will get over, the screen will automatically end the test. The SRCC GBO exam is conducted in the evening shift, I. e. from 3 PM to 5 PM. Also, there is no provision for changing the exam slot. Candidates must make sure that they reach the SRCC GBO exam centre by 2:00 PM in order to complete the frisking formalities at the entry gate. Candidates will not be allowed to enter the exam centre beyond 2:45 PM.

  • The admit card should be printed on A4 size sheet. It should not be folded. 
  • Students should self attest GBO 2026 hall ticket after showing it to invigilator. 
  • Candidates should not carry books or study material to exam centre. There will be no provision of keeping personal belongings. 
  • Candidates will be given a rough sheet and a pen for calculations. These are to be returned to the invigilator after the exam. 
  • Candidates must not indulge in any kind of malpractice or cheating. If caught, the candidate will be barred from appearing for the exam.
