The seat allotment result was scheduled for October 27, 2025, which was postponed twice, to November 1, 2025, and November 6, 2025.
The Assam NEET 2025 Counselling Round 3 seat allotment result has been declared on November 6, 2025, followed by the institute reporting process from November 7 to November 8, 2025. The PWD category candidates have to report with the relevant original certificates at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital on November 7, 2025, for the verification of their disability status.
The dates for Assam NEET counselling 2025 are being announced separately for each round. The Assam NEET Counselling 2025 is being conducted for admission to the 85 per cent State Quota seats of MBBS and BDS courses offered in the state.

Salient Features of the Assam NEET Counselling
There will be approximately four to five rounds of Assam NEET 2025 counselling, and the number of rounds may extend based on the seat vacancies. Moreover, the dates for particular events such as registration or choice filling may get extended based on student requests or external factors. The duration of each round of Assam NEET Counselling 2025 is likely to range from a week to 10 days.
The Assam NEET counselling is scheduled in various rounds, such as Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3 or mop-up round and special stray vacancy round (for vacant seats). After completing Assam NEET counselling round-wise, various institutes conduct their counselling at the college level to fill the remaining vacant seats (if any).
To participate in the State NEET counselling, candidates must first register themselves. Registration for Assam NEET counselling will be done online, and the form will be available on the official website of DME Assam. The Assam NEET counselling applications will only be considered and accepted after the registration fee is paid.
