Features of the NEET MDS Mock Test Online for Free
The NBE NEET MDS mock test will be available online at natboard.edu.in. Let us take a look at the details of the official NEET MDS mock test below-
- The total duration of the NEET MDS 2026 is 10 minutes, 10 minutes for each section.
- Part A has five questions and four-minutes duration, and Part B has seven questions to be solved in six minutes.
- Candidates cannot switch the sections.
- After the stipulated time, the section will automatically change.
- Candidates can review questions or move between questions as many times as they wish to within a section and given time.
- To submit a question, test takers have to click on the correct option and click on ‘Save & Next’ tab and to deselect the answer, click on ‘Clear Response’ tab. To change the answer, click on another answer option.

Yes, the pattern of NEET MDS clearly states that penalty marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. Each correct answer will fetch four marks and for each wrong answer, there will be negative marking of one mark. Hence, the negative marking applied in the NEET MDS exam is 25 per cent. No marks will be awarded or deducted for unattempted questions.
Being a computer-based exam, candidates are given the option to mark one or more answer options for review. According to NBE, candidates are given an option to mark any question, whether attempted or not, for review which means that candidate has been given an option to go through these questions again before the examination time ends. However, candidates must submit the answer as without that, the question will be considered unattempted.
