Mystory@Pritam Panigrahi: How I chose my course

1 min readUpdated on Apr 12, 2017 14:32 IST
Find out how Pritam secured admission at St John College of Pharmacy and Research which is affiliated to Mumbai University. Read more at Shiksha.

From the very beginning I was interested in doing engineering from IIT but because of lack of proper guidance I couldn't make that happen. But after my Higher Secondary School Certificate (HSC), I managed to get good marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) and so I got admission in a college of Mumbai University, that is, St John College of Pharmacy and Research.

My college faculty members were average like any other college. The most important thing that I experienced at my college was that I made good friends. We all are destined to develop such friendships and college acts as the tool for that.

I was a day scholar and so I used to travel from my home to college every day and this is why I do not have any experience of hostel life. All I gained from college life was true friendship.

No, you will not be eligible for the MBA course at VELS Institute if you haven't appeared for any entrance exam. You have to first achieve at least 50% in graduation and then appear in any one of the accepted exams, namely, MAT, CAT, TANCET, and XAT.
