IMS BHU offers a 4-year UG-level BSc (Nursing) course. It can be challenging to get into IMS BHU for BSc (Nursing), given the fact that the cut-offs are high and the seat intake is 100. Candidates must qualify Class 12 or equivalent with subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English). Candidates must seek the Class 12 qualification from a recognised Board/ University with at least 45% marks and also qualify the entrance exams considered for the admission process by the Institute.

NEET UG is the accepted entrance exam for BSc admission at IMS BHU. The exam is conducted once every year by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The exam dates vary yearly. It is usually conducted in May. In 2025, the NEET 2025 exam is scheduled to be held on May 4, 2025 (2 pm to 5 pm). The application process for the same was conducted between Feb 7, 2025 and Mar 7, 2025. Eligible candidates can visit the official NEET UG (NTA) website to apply for the exam.

Here are some steps to register for admission to the MBBS course.

Step 1: Candidates must apply for the NEET UG entrance exam via the official website of NTA NEET.

Step 2 After the registration for the entrance exam, candidates must register in the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) portal. This portal is for candidates to be eligible for the 85% AIQ seat counseling process.

Step 3: During the time of registration, candidates must mention IMS BHU when choosing a college/university. Based on the cut-off rank, candidates will receive the allotment of IMS BHU.

Step 4: Pay the admission fee and complete the process of registration/application, respectively.

Candidates who get selected to pursue a BSc in Nursing at the Institute of Medical Sciences, BHU must confirm their admission by submitting the applicable fees. The total tuition fee for a BSc at IMS BHU is INR 900. Furthermore, selected candidates must pay a one-time fee of INR 800 at admission. This includes Enrolment Fee, Admission Fee, I-Card and Passbook Fee, College Caution Money, and Degree Charges. The mentioned fee is sourced from the official website of the college/sanctioning body.
